First time staying at the Beverly Hills Hilton. Beautiful entrance greeted by friendly staff. Our room was in the older part of the hotel, the oasis. The room was standard size and a small bathroom with a curtain instead of glass door. Since it bothers me tremendously, I thought I would mention it. They did offer to switch our room the following night but too much stuff to move. Very noisy as the front entrance and valet is right outside of the room .Car alarms and horn beeping was not conducive for sleep. The breakfast buffet was outstanding with array of choices and attentive staff. The pool area was lovely. The location was best part. Minutes away from Rodeo Drive. Short ride to Melrose Ave. So much to do. I would definitely stay here again but in the newer section of the hotel. Collapse

We arrived in the middle of NBA All Star Weekend with celebrities and athletes swarming the place. The entire hotel is sold out and we are a family of four with small kids. Literally, we are nobody and I was so nervous walking up to the check in desk holding my breath waiting for the front desk woman to tell me that they had no room for us and to go elsewhere. But, wait, she was so kind and friendly. We even showed up a few hours early and she gave us an amazing room that overlooked the pool. She even offered us an upgrade which we had to sadly decline because all four of us couldn't fit on a king size bed. In all my years of travelling to high end places, I have never received such great service during such a hectic time at a hotel. The place was literally mobbed with people. The bellhop was so kind as well and showed us to our room because he was worried we would get lost as we were total newbies in Beverly Hills. My goodness, Hilton, I am a Hyatt/Four Seasons die hard and you have won me over. I will try more of your properties and join your rewards program. I should also add, we got our room off hotels.com so when I say were were nobody, I really mean it. They treated us like royalty. Parking is expensive, but has in/out privileges. Our room was old school luxury and some of the fixtures could use a refresh, but otherwise was very nice, clean, and comfortable. Restaurant servers were great and so nice to our kids. The location is so ideal that even though the song says nobody walks in LA, you can totally walk to places from here. Thank you Beverly Hilton, we will be back soon. Collapse

My mother and I arrived from LAX a Friday around 2 pm. Our Uber driver dropped us off at the entrance of the hotel, and as soon as the car doors where open, several people ran to our car helping us with our luggage. Smiling and welcoming. We arrived at the front desk, and the girls were so nice, friendly and helpful. Very hands on and caring. Unfortunately we had arrived at the wrong hotel. The Uber driver dropped us of at The Waldorf Astoria, which I heard is a common mistake, as it is right next to the Beverly Hilton. We then had to walk over to the Hilton, where we were greeted by no one. There was only one guy working at the very large, long front desk. Not smiling, not friendly nor polite. With few words said he checked us in. No information about the breakfast, pool, directions, nothing. Apparently we did get our room upgraded as my mother is a Hilton hounors member, but this was not informed. The room was nice, clean and maintained. Some of our minibar beverages was empty, so I wanted to inform the front desk right away, so that they wouldn’t charge us for it. At the front desk there was now a woman working, and as I informed her about the beverages she just looked at me weird, as like she didn’t understand why I was telling her this. It wasn’t even a complaint, I just wanted to inform her. I am very tired, jet lagged, and not feeling the friendly vibe I usually feel arriving the US. Even tho it takes us at least 14 hours flying in from Norway. This woman was working continuously throughout our stay, not a very nice woman. Not smiling, not caring and just not good for the Hilton image. We usually just avoid her when we had to interact with the front desk. The rest of the people there was not much better either. But OK I guess. The breakfast was lovely. We had lunch the first day, it was decent. We later found out that you get a discount for lunch if you’re a guest at the hotel. Wouldn’t this be the kind of thing you should inform about at check-in?? The people in the restaurant was nice and friendly, without being pushy. We had dinner one night and our waiter was the nicest man from Hong Kong. Put him up at the front desk please?? The guys that workes around the hotel, who helps with the bags and cars turned out to be such lovely, helpful and friendly people as well. My guess is they didn’t see us at arrival as we where walking, which is so strange to do in LA. The people working by the pool: hmm. Should you really be wearing sunglasses and listening to music on your iPhone while you’re at work? All and all, the stay was nice tho. We left after three days to stay in Calabasas, but came back for our last night. We then got an upgrade to a large room with to queen beds. Which was nice of them. But as they charged us the wrong rate (way to high) at our first stay this was, I feel, as a front desk receptionist myself (!!!!), mandatory. We have decided to come back to LA next fall and will then stay at the Waldorf Astoria, and the Hilton hotel in Calabasas (talk about service!!! The employees at this hotel was born to do this) Shoutout to the guys working around the front desk, helping with luggage and hotel car, they really are this hotels MVP’s. Also the waiter from Hong Kong. <3 Collapse

A well cared for property that offers great service and a vibe that takes you to a more glamorous time. Service is thoughtful. The pool area is a relaxing place for a drink before dinner. The restaurants in the hotel are good and the hotel offers a car service for the short distance to Rodeo Drive. Would recommend the hotel for business travel or a weekend get-away. Collapse
