With lots of hotels in the area I would advise staying away from this hotel. The renovated rooms are nice, but I'm extremely disappointed with the customer service and feel gouged by the mandatory $35 valet parking fee. My biggest complaint though is that this hotel completely ignored a request from me 3 times in a row. I'm unable to sleep well on the standard Marriott pillows and always request foam pillows during my stays at other Marriotts. During a recent 2 night stay I requested foam pillows 3 times - and that request was completely ignored all 3 times. I finally gave up asking and as a result had two horrible nights of sleep. Thanks for nothing Beverly Hills Marriott. I won't be back. Collapse

I had a very nice stay here! rooms are very chic and modern and good size! they have excellent service! location is good. the executive lounge is quite small but good selection there. One bad thing though I must warn people in the newly renovated shower the bathroom tiles are really slippery when wet. they have a non slip matt there for a reason. but they should set up a sign or change tiles. I fell in the shower but luckily did not hurt my self. Otherwise really nice stay! Collapse

What’s good - location in Beverly Hills. Contemporary decor with what techies and millenials like, large comfy King bed (a tad too soft), non-down pillows, on higher floor were requested and fulfilled. No desk nor desk chair nor reading chairs just a chaise longue with tray style table for laptop, lots of usb charging ports at bedside. No wardrobe just a short open clothes rack with ironing board and iron. Loved the roll-in shower and bathroom. Spacious, well lit and bright! Wheeled my luggage here so I can see my stuff. Large full length mirror What’s not good for me Pool environment was disappointing, think motel pool right by road with fence - this pool is Beverly Hills version with fancy outdoor furniture! Room is in shades of fashionable greige and browns, I find it way too dark - the coffee maker and mini-fridge area is completely brown and visibility here is almost nil. Bedside and tv side lamps do not throw enough light into this direction, nor into the clothes hanging area beside it. Bathroom has 2 long towel rails inside shower and another 2 outside shower, that’s nice but I miss hooks for hanging up long pants and clothes. We were offered bath robes, receptionist said it would be sent to room, but they never arrived and since I was not going to swim in aforementioned pool..... No folder about hotel facilities so can't answer questions about gym, business center etc. After 40 years in the US, I had second experience with in-my-face racism, from 2 young boys who would not enter elevator and said “f_____g Asians” as elevator door was closing! This does not reflect on Marriott management at all, but possibly a reflection of changing tides in the country! Wonder where they are from - Oklahoma? Collapse

We stayed at the Beverly Hills Marriott for 3 nights. Upon arrival, we were told that they ran out of roll out beds and that my daughter would have to sleep on the couch (not the pull out kind, just a thin bench like couch by the window). To me this is unacceptable when you book for 4 people in a room, especially for a Marriott hotel. Although we were given free valet parking for this inconvenience, the manager Brian seemed very dismissive of the whole situation, explaining that two full beds were not guaranteed upon booking. This is fine, however we payed to receive a room that can sleep 4 people on a bed not with one of us sleeping a bench/couch!! The hotel then offered to switch us to another room the following day which was great. We left our luggages at reception the following morning as we were heading out to Disney and wouldn't be getting back until very late that night. They said not to worry our luggages would be waiting in our room. However, when we got back to the hotel later that night our luggages were not in our room. We had to call reception after waiting for awhile and the receptionist answered they could not bring our luggages up right away as they were checking in other people at the moment. They had all the day to bring our luggages up and now I had to wait because they were servicing other people!! Needless to say, THE SEVICE AT THE FRONT DESK NEEDS SOME WORK!! Also, for some reason, we were unable to pick up coffees and food to go on the Sunday that we were there. The hotel told us we had to do the full buffet and that this was the only option for that morning which wasn't a very convenient option for us. All in all, the overall service was below average at this hotel for a Marriott hotel. The only good service we had was with one of the waitresses at the restaurant who was super friendly and accommodating! The rooms were nice but to me great service is also a big part of my hotel experience which in this case was not met. You are better off spending your hard earned money on one of the many other hotel chains in L.A. Collapse

I stayed in this Marriott for one week on a business trip. It is very new property and recently completed one year since it's inauguration. It is located very close to Century City so it is really accessible for daily commute for work. The in room dining is fantastic. I like the chicken and salmon entree and would highly recommend it. Being a Marriott platinum I was upgraded for my stay. What disappointed me was that an upgrade meant just a higher floor and nothing else, not even a good view. I think they need to work on their upgrade policy for platinum members. My other colleagues shared to same experience. One more thing was that my television speakers were awful so I had to increase the volume to barely hear what was being said on TV and I was asked to lower my volume by hotel staff because people from other rooms were getting disturbed by that. Overall, I had a positive experience and would definitely consider this property for my future stay. Collapse
