Me and my moom visited the hotel and kinda where shocked.. the rooms are relatively small which is okay but for the price not really. The rooms aren't as clean as expected in a 4 stars hotel in barcelona. Dirty corners and especially the bathroom.. eew! The MOST HORRIFIC thing was they forgot to clean out room twice!! No new toilet paper and even though we followed the advices for new towels.. we never got fresh towels. So we called the reception and they where like: "omg we're so sorry we're going to fix that"! Never happened and at the end we had to get our own toilet paper!! The breakfast buffet is relatively small and not too fresh or anything. Not really vegetarian friendly and nothing special at all! If you get dinner/lunch there the food is very good but also not too fresh! The "Gym" is a small, dirty room with very little equipment and low weights. More cardio focused. So fazit is we visited lower stars hotels that were WAY better. Not worth the 4 stars but as a accommodation ok. Collapse

I stayed at this hotel the beginning of August 2017, through Expedia for two days. Day 1: The bathroom sink was clogged and the room was smaller than expected. Maintenance was called and a female came to our room with a plunger. A plunger, most likely used in someone's toilet. Never the less, I used the shower for everything. Day 2: Room change, same thing again, sink is clogged. Maintenance was called and the individual took the sink stopper out exposing the filth and discussing debris. Went to take a shower and there was hair in the shower and the walls of the shower were dirty. I reported my displeasure and a personnel from housekeeping was called. Housekeeping came looked at the bathroom, said something in Spanish and walked out. I told her I needed the bathroom cleaned and she left and never came back. Nevertheless, I took a shower with my slippers on and strategically took a shower. I was so disgusted. No problem. I got up early in the morning, waited for my airport shuttle and left dodge. There was very limited cable channels in English and no socket converters . Also the hotel does not do money conversion. You have to go to the hotel down the street who did it for us as a courtesy. The front desk staff were very helpful and understanding but I just did not enjoy my stay. Collapse

Beautiful hotel rooms and facilities where absolutely spotless right on the beach perfect stay for our trip as we stayed for the beach festival , staff where very friendly and helpful however on the day of checking out I had no longer been checked out more than 40 minutes and realised I had left my phone charger when I asked staff had it been handed in they said nothing had and maids had found nothing yet I knew for a fact I had left it there Collapse

I bought this trip through Travel Republic as a surprise for my husbands 50th birthday. I emailed ahead and asked for a nice room with a view as it was a surprise. I had booked transfers too. We arrived and there was no one waiting for us. We waited for half an hour but nothing. We walked 10 minutes through the terminals and we came across the transfer office. They did not apologise, just made a phone call and said 5 minutes. 15 minutes later still nothing. So I went back to the desk and they made another call and said 5 minutes. We were completely fed up by this time. We arrived at the hotel and the lady on reception told us to check in at 2 and took our bags and gave some information about catching buses etc. She was the only helpful person I came across. We collected our luggage and went to the room. Yes we had a sea view and the window opened wide which was nice ... and that is the only good thing I can say about this hotel. The room is in dire need of updating, walls are badly marked and when u pull back the curtain there was mould. The bed was hard and the only plug socket you could use was if you unplugged the lamp or fridge. Trying to get ready was a big issue as a woman. The hairdryer was in the bathroom but getting ready in there was impossible, no air con in bathroom, gets too hot to do makeup. So u have to pull the chair round to the long mirror, where there is nowhere to put makeup, I set myself up a table with my suitcase. Then had to unplug the fridge so I could use the socket for my own appliances. Housekeeping didn't clean our room any of the days of our stay until 430. Then all they did was make the bed and clean the shower. I went to have a shower on the second day and had no towels. I had told reception in the morning that my husband had broken a glass in the room which we had picked up the pieces and left on the tray. He told me not to worry as housekeeping would deal with it. They just left the glass on the tray, they didn't change our dirty coffee cups or replace any coffee or sugar etc. Very bad service and when I rang down reception just sent me 2 cups and a glass. I had to ask again for her to take the broken glass away. The breakfast was typical and nothing to really say about the quality. How this hotel makes any money is beyond me. My husband and I went to the bar at least 7 times during our stay looking for a drink and bite to eat. Only twice did we manage to get a drink as the bar was not staffed. We saw quite a few people walk away after being unable to get a drink. Absolute rubbish. The hotel was near the beach, which was nice. Just be warned the beach bars have very high prices. I was charged 9 euros for a pinacolada, picture was in a large glass, they brought it to the table in a plastic cup that was only half full, and when you cannot get a drink in your hotel you get forced elsewhere. Just take lots of euros with you. Would I go back ? Not a chance!! Collapse
