Flew with jet2 as usual no problems arrived Monday 7th may weather lovely walked along the driveway to hotel and could see this hotel has had a refurbishment everything was new the paintwork garden furniture balconies. At reception checked in no problem we had booked the AI Premium went to our room it also had a makeover nice decor new furniture built in wardrobe with no doors saves space also no need to put your door entry card into a slot for electricity. After unpacking went to see the rest of the hotel everywhere was absolutely spotless the hotel offers a adult only pool found this to be a very relaxing place ( not in the height of season but still a peaceful place). The premium option offers Beth towels, one free sauna, jacuzzi, entry to garden terrace, entry to rooftop terrace which also has a bar and a 20% discount at the sa flamba restaurant on the beach ( had a steak meal there would recommend).the location of hotel is perfect a 4 minute walk and your at the beach yet you hear very little noise even at night the food is what you would expect good choice no complaints from me staff, the staff would go out of their way to help you room cleaning is of a high standard security guard on patrol even though it was about 2 weeks before the peak season started. Bus into San Antonio a 2 minute walk from hotel or a 5 minute walk to the water taxi 3euros to San Antonio did it twice Magic from the hotel you have choice of bars, restaurants and shops but for a shopping spree go to San Antonio. Would I return YES Collapse

well what can i say - apart from the late arrival on sunday evening - resort hoppa fault - we got literally dumped on the street by them with no idea where the hotel was - you see its set back from the main road and up round a little side street - once we cracked that we were impressed at 9.45pm - arrivals reception chap was just lovely - he had called ahead and new we were running late due to the transfer company and he opened the restaurant for us to have dinner - what a lovely man - security guy sorted out our cases and our passports and showed the other half were to go watch the footy as there was a big game on tv - magic show on for the wee one so happy days. booked a premium room which was well worth it - i only did so because i read that they supplied the pool towels which is a blessing as we only went for a few days and luggage was limited - Then found out we got lovely balcony with real furniture not the crappy white stuff, also private access to the sunset terrace bar with its own bar and beautiful terrace furniture - total luxury and no draft mixers all from bottles - also access to all-in after 11pm when it closes and they are strict about the 11pm cut off. Any way adults pool looked great but we went with our daughter - family pool was fab and the kiddies one looked ideal for the toddlers etc, tennis court and football pitch and crazy golf all on site , no charge so again bravo for not milking the tourists - snack bar was great - nice touch to have to go order your food and take the ticket to the ladies who make your food fresh - rather than previous hotels were its all lying out and kids touching it etc - you know were im going here - entertainment was brill - usual hotel stuff but great non the less - we had a lovely stay and after from the odd noisy hen and stag it didnt upset us too much - WORD OF WARNING - jet 2 say no hens or stags allowed but thats not to say other tour operators and private bookings dont go - there were lots of them and yes it is a family hotel but its not just for familes so not sure how it would be at the height of the season - but i would go back in a minute it was a fab few days Collapse
