I made my holiday booking via Thomas Cook all inclusive for 1 week 11 Feb to 18 Feb, with my family. When we arrived at the Hotel Beatriz Playa & Spa the reception was spacious and front desk was well manned with helpful and friendly staff. The check in took no time at all with a quick photocopy of our passports and application of the wristband we were escorted to our rooms with a luggage trolley. This escort was highly appreciated as when the lift took us to the second floor the scale and size of the hotel become apparent. The rooms are by key card (2 provided) and upon entry 1 key card to be placed in the electricity slot. The room was large and spacious and the bathroom was exactly the same. The large mirrored wardrobe housed the safe (this is not part of all inclusive package and will need to be rented) the wardrobe had fitted hangers and 3 draws inside but warn but was practical for purpose. The sliding doors to the balcony was covered by blackout curtains (which is a god send as the sun was very strong and bright) and the balcony spacious with drying rack, plastic table and plastic chairs. Other things the room had flat screen TV (never used), Kettle with tea/coffee making facilities and a fridge (not used) there was also 4 plug sockets in the room. On the first day we was met by Thomas Cook rep Amy who was a fresh well spoken young lady who was there to make our holiday more accessible. I thing that i did like is that she gave you a brief detail about excursions but this was never pushed upon us and she would help where ever she could even asking for family discounts on phone to booking excursions without being prompted. Amy also did as promised she left notes when not there for all to see and ensured that all guests was informed on all matters relating to our holiday. In regards to the food and dinning this was exceptional. The normal buffet arrangement for all meals and hotel staff was there always to meet and greet you. When you had finished meals the plates was cleared away efficiently and nothing was too much trouble. The outdoor swimming and sunbathing areas was also immaculate. The hotel have signs everywhere that reserving sunbeds was not allowed and they would not accept responsibility for missing towels if you was to do this which I found more at ease with. The main pool is climate controlled but be careful of the slope in there are signs but this is very slippery and becomes deep straight away. The location of the hotel is right next to the airport which means that during he course of the holiday you will have planes constantly flying very close to hotel. Amazingly with the patio doors closed you struggle to hear this from the rooms. Hotel is practically on he beach and 3 mins walk to local shops and restaurants. Overall we loved our holiday and the Hotel staff, Amy and location made it everything we wanted. I would highly recommend this hotel and will be booking myself. Collapse

We stayed here for the second time recently (4th Feb - 15th Feb). We chose to come back as we both really enjoyed our stay here in Feb 2017. 5 mins transfer from airport, no noise (that bothered us anyway) the airport seems very quiet between 7pm and 7am which is great. Our room again was spotless and cleaned to a high standard. Food was excellent, a huge choice, even the fussiest eater would struggle to not find anything. You can book into the Italian Restaurant Fri - Sun, the oriental restaurant Mon & Tue and there was an addition from our holiday from last year which was a BBQ night Wed and Thurs. There is also a fab burger bar open Sat and Sun 12 noon to 4pm, this is really good and the chicken caesor salad is fantastic!! All staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. There was no charge this time for the use of the fridge in our room. We were really touched that on the first day after we arrived that when we came back to our room late afternoon which found a bottle of fizz sitting on ice with a couple of glasses, and a lovely fresh fruit platter made up for us as returning guests. This year I made use of the gym facilities. For me it was great and all that I needed, there are a coupe of cross trainers, a treadmill, a gym ball (that was the only kit I used) but there were a couple of bikes and weight machine. The use of this facility was 9am to 9pm, ideally for me, if it was open earlier (before breakfast) that would be spot on, but not a complaint. Indoor and outdoors of the big hotel is maintained to a high standard and the staff will go out there way to help you. When we checked out, we were given a lovely little bag with Pringles, nuts and sweets, a really nice token gesture. We plan to come back again Feb 2019, as we know that we will be guaranteed a fantastic holiday here at the Beatriz Play. Collapse

Room large, clean with fantastic views. Large comfortable beds. Food plentiful and you can always find something you like- can’t understand the negative reviews about the food. The only negative about this hotel is it so COLD. I don’t understand why it’s colder than outside. Guests are sat with coats on and blankets round them in the entertainment room at night. All the public areas are freezing, we go back to our room to warm up. Collapse

Not far from the beach free bus but you can easily walk it in 10/15 mins or get a taxi for 3 euros. great entertainment so if your all inclusive why go out and spend money when you haven't got to .couldnt fault it one bit .what some people should think about is ..you get what you pay for. Would definitely return. Collapse
