Ashdown Park Hotel has it all: impecable service, idyllic location, proper country feel and class. Staff are very attentive and the spa treatments are a delight. We were looking to relax away from London and we achieved it in a couple of hours. It has all the luxury and high standards with a heartwarming country feel. And live piano music while dinning, which is one of my favourite things. Collapse

The Staff at this hotel were lovely. Ensure you book as in advance for anything you would like to do for your stay otherwise you'll miss out. We booked early at the beginning of the week for that coming weekend, and could only secure a 30 minute facial on the day of departure, at a quite early in the morning time-slot. We also hadn't booked dinner but kindly the Reception desk accommodated us on Saturday night in the restaurant for a lovely meal. If you want to Clay Pigeon shoot they only do this on Saturday's as opposed to Sunday (book in advance). The 3-Coure Dinner on Saturday evening was delightful. The restaurant was a really beautiful setting and food but very expensive alcohol options £16 cocktails, most wines £50 per bottle and the meal itself quite pricey but you got what you paid for with the food! The Spa facilities are lovely, if a little cramped (small Jacuzzi) and a little tired (could do with a price up) but you get what you pay for and this spa it's a more reasonable price then most places for a weekend stay (close to London). Check your spa timing with the team, as there was confusion regarding my booking which was a little frustrating from a customer perspective on the day itself. I think there are some lovely rooms, but I think we were unfortunate with ours, next to the housekeeping cupboard so a bit of a too-early wake up call (door banging from 06:00 on a Sunday). Collapse

We spent a very relaxing afternoon at the country club. Upon arrival we were warmly welcomed and given our robe and slippers. Then personally taken to the bar/lounge area where we were given a welcome drink. Then we were shown where the changing rooms were, steam room sauna and pool area. We got changed and relaxed by the pool for a while then headed off for our treatments. We all had opted for facials and the therapists were extremely professional, competent and friendly. The facial lasted just under an hour and I could have quite happily fallen asleep. Then to the relaxing zone with a pot of herbal tea and glass of ice cold water, perfect. We went back to the leisure suite and swam, relaxed in the jacuzzi and tried out the sauna & steam room.. Later we had a huge afternoon tea, finger sandwiches and lots of delicious cakes. It was a sunny day and we sat out on the balcony area overlooking the stunning grounds. All in all i can 100% recommend Ashdown Park for a perfect relaxing experience. Can't wait to go back. Collapse

An absolute amazing hotel, I have just spent the night here and can honestly say it's the best I have ever stayed at, the look and feel is outstanding and every single member of staff was likewise. Me and my partner loved it, we had a overnight stay on the 12th and loved it, there was a lovely looking wedding happening at the time but this did not change the quality of this hotel, some lesser places can struggle to achieve for a big weekend. This is a top quality hotel, the food was amazing, and for someone like me who wrongly assumed would be pretty and more show than taste I really apologise to the chef... it was delicious and we have never had better, also we both must mention phoebe and Ellen, they were the best spa treatments we have ever had. From check in to check out this place is professional and friendly which is a combination hard to achieve, if you ever want to treat one another choose here Collapse
