I'm a repeat guest and there is no where I would rather be thanks to the team. Reservations - Nadège & John - Most efficient staff ever!! From all the hotels I've stayed at, they are the best. I always request the same room & they always make it happen & all my requests are answered in a span of less than 5hours. FO - Patryk, Robert & Alija - Front office is the face of the hotel. Their demeanour right off the bat determines how you perceive the hotel. Without them my stay would be very dull. They are the friendliest staff & super professional & hope they never leave the hotel. HK - Not certain who cleans my room but its always clean. I also met Colleen at the hallway & had a request and she was very friendly. Restaurant - Breakfast is always good thanks to the service of Genina & Eli. They are very friendly and helpful Overall, great hotel, exceptional service. If you are in London, this is the hotel to be! I'm constantly looking forward to returning. Collapse

I just love the Arbor City Hotel - set right in the heart of the East End by Brick Lane. It's comfortable, friendly & spotless and the staff are amazing - from the cleaners upwards they all have a smile & a greeting. Special mention has to go to Abu on reception who will do anything to ensure your stay is as perfect as possible & his smile is infectious! Beth, also on reception, is a treasure and again always makes you fell special. In fact all the staff are a credit to the Hotel. Now we come to breakfast! the choices are amazing, excellent produce well displayed for the buffet. I had the scrambled egg, watercress & smoked salmon platter which was yummy. My husband had (as men do) the full English. We also had yoghurt, cereals, toast & muffins and didn't need to eat again until the evening! Hopefully we'll be back very soon. Thank you Arbor City for being so perfect! Collapse

This hotel is modern, clean and the staff are very helpful. It is in a great location on a direct tube stop from London KX and easy access to central London, The City or South bank. We were in London to go to an event at O2 arena and we got there easily with just one change on the Tube. The hotel is everything you will need for a weekend or short break in London. It is on the end of Brick Lane so right in the heart of real London, spitallfields is a short walk and there are great places to eat all around. We did a show near Covent Garden one night and again easy access on the tube. We would definitely return it was one of best value good quality hotels we have stayed in for London. Collapse

We stayed here for my 30th birthday for a long weekend. I’m very fussy but the hotel is modern, very clean and central. It is literally a 2 second walk from Aldgate East. The staff were all very friendly, particularly Luca behind the bar who always liked you to be wined and dined well and never without an empty glass! The staff are all very attentive and made our stay. The rooms were lovely, again very clean and spacious. We did however on 2 occasions, have a knock at the door at 8am to clean the room which wasn’t what we expected. We had tea/coffee facilities (decaf if you ask at restaurant) and a mini fridge too. The room, despite our best efforts of turning down the temperature to 19 degrees, was roasting during the night. We also slept with the windows open but the room keeps the heat and was quite uncomfortable , particularly on our final night. We had to complain one evening about our shower temperature changing and then hardly any water at all. Bit of a pain when you have bookings elsewhere in London. However we reported it to reception and they had it fixed within a short period. The breakfast .... well whether you just stick with continental or do the full breakfast like us, you’ll not be stuck for choice! The continental was fab and if you pay for full breakfast you get this plus a choice of a hot breakfast from the menu also. Food was delicious. We were in the bar/Marco polo restaurant a few times and food was quick and well presented. The hotel also do happy hour 5-7pm on all cocktails which is quite a saving in London and they were fab! There is a fab bar round the corner called Apples and Pears, we ended up here on the Saturday night and stayed for ages. The drinks and music and overall atmosphere was fantastic! And with it being a hop, skip and a jump from the hotel, it saves any subway and too much walking! The area of Brick Lane does so much Indian, Turkish and Oriental foods. We had some delicious food here and very reasonable too! (2 courses and a bottle of wine for £30 per couple.) Overall our stay was fab and we would definitely recommend and definitely return again. Thank you for a fab stay! Collapse
