Just returned from a week away staying at the THB Flora and everything was perfect! Beautiful apartment, spotlessly clean, beautiful pool (bit cold but that can’t be helped), friendly staff, amazing, thorough and friendly cleaner (Natacha). There is not one thing I could complain about. Check in was quick and easy. Made easier by the gentleman on reception who was very informative and friendly. We were in the apartments across the road, which is a little quieter than the main pool area. We were blown away by our 1 bedroom apartment, with a terrace right by the pool. It was beautiful. We were self catering so cannot comment on the food, however the bar staff were friendly and efficient, with a wide range of drinks available at reasonable prices. The hotel shop is well stocked with everything you could need and is open until midnight, which was a god send on our arrival day as we didn’t get to the hotel until after 11pm. Whilst staying here it was my partners birthday and on arrival we had a birthday card and a bottle of champagne waiting, which was displayed beautifully. The hotel is in the perfect location, not right in the middle of all the night life but walking distance to the harbour, the beach, the strip and the bars and restaurants. Taxis are very reasonable, we traveled to the shopping centre, the strip and the music hall tavern by taxi and it never cost us more than €5. A recommendation for a lovely meal is Mario’s which is a 5 minute walk out the back of the hotel, next door to the spar shop. Beautiful food and lovely staff. Also, the Music hall tavern drag show was hilarious, well worth the money! If we were going to Lanzarote again, I would 100% book this hotel. You will not be disappointed if you stay here Collapse

junior suite one of the newly decorated ones - checked in when we arrived at 11.00am, no waiting around, breakfast and dinner were brilliant always a good choice with fish and meats, the moroccan Crew in the restaurant day and night were brilliant, omelettes to order and fired eggs, fresh meat, chicken and fish grilled on the spot, and the pastry chef every evening at dinner with a selection of deserts and fresh fruit - restaurant was always clean, the manager walked around at breakfast and dinner speaking to guests, the cleaning team again what more can you ask for a brilliant team, clean pools, one pool more noisy than the other one but both spotless with life guards on duty Collapse

Stayed here at THB flora from 10th to the 22nd April, our fifth visit to this hotel. The refurbishment is very good, rooms are of very high standard and bathroom, particularly the shower excellent. We stayed in a one bedroom junior suite. I think the bedroom would be better at the back of the suite and the sitting area at the front overlooking the pool. This is my only complaint about the room, everything else great. We did have a slight misunderstanding with one of the animation team and this was dealt with promptly and efficiently by the manager. And the person concerned was most gracious afterwards. We were treated to a complimentary evening meal plus wine in the restaurant which we thoroughly enjoyed. We had tried the restaurant in a previous year and found the food not to our liking , but have to say there is a big improvement , the chocolate fountain fab. All in all another fantastic holiday at THB flora, can't wait to return in October. Collapse

We arrived in Lanzarote on 19th April 2018, staying all-inclusive in THB Flora, Puerto del Carmen. Upon arrival at the hotel there was a wait to check in, which became quite frustrating, especially when a crowd of guys on a stag do arrived shortly after us and it seemed as though the receptionist lost focus on our check-in to check them all in instead. Not a great start considering we were travelling with our one year old daughter who was becoming very impatient. Anyhow, finally we were checked-in and we walked to the room which was actually very well refurbished. We then ventured to the pool area for a quick paddle after a long morning of travelling. Both my wife & I stepped into the pool on seperate occasions with our daughter in hand and very nearly slipped over on entry to the pool. The childrens pool is really slippery & unsafe. That same evening we went to dinner in the "dining room", which is more of a canteen, where the blandness of the decor is only surpassed by the blandness of the food. All the food was cold and the selection was minimal. Suficed to say this hotel wasn't providing us with the best first impression. After dinner we popped into the hotel entertainment bar, whereby we were met with an empty room, no atmosphere or music, only a forlorn barmaid. WIth nothing else to do, our attention turned to the decor in the room, which can best be described as aged and in need of refurbishment, much like a working mens club. The hotel is located up a large hill and is a 20+ minute walk to the beach... Get a cab back if you can. We decided that staying in this hotel for a week would completely ruin our holiday and were at this point willing to pay money to be upgraded to another hotel. Thanks to Thomas Cook reps we were moved to another hotel the next day and could finally enjoy our family holiday. This hotel is completely misrepresented by its 3 star rating, whereby only the rooms could be rated 3 star, the rest of the hotel is 2 star at best. Collapse

We were staying in THB Flora for 9 days and over all it was ok. We were located in part 2 which is cross the road or there is tunnel for later hours. We liked the apartment as it was spacious and lovely but the cleaning service is not great I found it a bit left as they don't clean toilet and not using any product to clean the sink only wipe it dry as I seen it in the reception bathroom which I thought it's not that hygienic. I know they only changing sheets twice in a week but our was not change at all she left clean sheets and towels there for us. Swimming pool is very nice .... water freezing. The splash zone is great for kids. But I would say the part 1 is more looked after than part 2. We had one big issue with the hotel!!!as our main door was left wide open!!! when we were out for the day as there was a maintenance guy fixing little mirror in the bathroom (now we didn't ask to change it, there was nothing wrong with the old one) and when back in the hotel the kids got afraid to see the door wide open, curtain open so anyone could just walk in. We 100% locked the door when we left. So that was a big shock to all of us, I only discovered new mirror as a bit mess was left in the bathroom so we knew than there was someone in. My husband told the receptionist and than was dealing with the manager. They were sorry and apologies. Still our stuff could be all gone and kids tablets were there, car keys and mobile. It was just luck nothing was missing and there were lovely people staying around us. We stayed self catering and I'm happy for that ... could enjoy different meals and restaurants as the all inclusive didn't look that impressive. Area is good, close to shops and restaurants... on the hill and quite far walking from beach. Well that is my honest review. Collapse
