Stayed at the thb flora for 14 nights, very clean apartments and grounds are well kept. The staff are all lovely and the entertainers are brillant and great at what they do. My only complaint is the price of drinks at the bar if you are not all inclusive, 3.20 for a small plastic cup of beer is a bit much. We had a great time at thb and would stay again . Collapse

Staying there as I write.. returning home Monday. Staying g 1 week And thank you to the hotel for the birthday Champagne in our rooms. So far so great....staying AI family of 10. As we arrived out luggage in storage so that we could eat before dinner finished at 9.30pm. We have 3 rooms on the opposite side of reception. Known as Flora 2. Rooms 394 395 and 303. Very spacious rooms with good facilities for cooking even if your AI. Supermarket and shop on site. As well as supermarkets nearby 5 min walk. Stop off at The Purple Turtle Bar for excellent food drink cocktails and service. Beach is 10min walk down a hill, you might want to grab a taxi back from the beach around €4. Bus from hotel every 30mins. No. 3 Bus to Teguise and Puerto Del Carmen depending on how far you go up the strip €5. Great guy does Caricature images. Good selection of food in the AI. Breakfast Lunch and Dinner. Kids love the snacks. Really nice on the opposite side of the reception area. Great size pool on both sides of hotel. Plenty of beds available. More Sun Umbrellas please. Nice & quiet by the pool over at Flora 2. Really busy by the main pool area. Nice and hot too. Fantastic foam party on Wednesday. It was awesome. Entertainment great for kids, kids club and splash park. Animal Man with reptiles was good. Cleaning is not available Mon & Fri. However you also have laundry area. Could do with a sweeping brush in the rooms. That would be useful. When you go to the beach take some bread to feed the fish. Take a visit to Big Bobs Diner in Teguise awesome food. The bar serves local drinks AI although there is a specific list for what this includes. Usual top shelf you can pay for. Two drinks per person on AI when you visit the bar. Inconvenient if you're staying over Flora 2 as there is no bar.. you have to go across to main pool area as there is only 1 bar. You can use the very well lit and decorated designed underground walkway which is really nice. Please get a bar on Flora 2 side in fairness to all paying guests. Staff are very pleasant courteous and accommodating. Work very very hard in the very hot weather. Credit to THB Flora. Looking to return October 2017 Collapse

Thb flora is amazing place to stay rooms are clean and nice size. Food is good something for everyone every night there is a different countries cuisine. Staff are polite and friendly will help you with anything you need. Animation team where amazing really hands on full of energy especially Judit who stood out always has a smile on her face is full of beans. When doing an activity she is fully involved makes everyone love us as a family lived her and she was the face thb flora Especially for my son Harry who she seem to bring out of his shell and everyday he would look for her and get out of pool for 11o clock just so he could hi five her Amazing holiday as it was kids first aboard I will definitely be back to stay at the thb flora Collapse

Been coming here years lovely friendly staff . Lovely greeting from Aday when we arrived he always makes us feel very welcome aslo a mention to Isabella Jerronimo on front desk and Carlos who sorts our holiday out . The house keeping staff that kept our room spick and span . The room had been refurbished this year . Loved the a/c and the new walk in shower was great . We had a great time . We always go self catering as we like using the different restaurants . Thanks flora another great holiday Collapse

We stayed at the Flora from 27th June to 11th July with our 3 children (9,7,4) We stayed in a superior apartment and were all inclusive. Location of the hotel is about 10 mins uphill from old town Puerto del Carmen so not ideal for small legs but taxis were cheap and the walk down was fine. Accomodation wise I couldn't fault the apartment to be honest. We did have an issue with cleaning the first week ( they only cleaned our apartment once) but once i had complained there was no issue the second week. It was on the quieter side of the property across the road from reception but there was a tunnel joining the 2 sides of the property so going over and back to the main areas was very safe. We stayed at the pool on our own side most of the time as it was quieter but it was very deep and there was no lifeguard. I am not a good swimmer so I could not go into it. It wasn't a problem for us as the kids and my husband can swim but It might pose a problem for others. What was slightly annoying was having to go over and back for drinks and snacks to the main area as they had a 2 drinks per person rule so for a family of 5 that was not ideal. I can understand the rule for alcohol but I felt it was a bit ridiculous for water and soft drinks. Especially considering the distance involved for people staying across the road!! The main pool area was very crowded and there was the usual sunbed hogging so we only went there a few times. Life is too short to fight over a sunbed!! Food in the restaurant was fine. Could have been a few more options for kids and vegetarians at dinner but there was a good variety of meats etc most nights and always plenty of salads. The entertainment area was a disappointment as it was really small, outdoors and so cold!! Heaters or something would be helpful outside to keep the cold at bay in the evenings as it was very open and so windy you would need to be wrapped up warmly. Most of the staff were friendly and helpful in the bar, restaurant and reception but the staff that stood out the most were Judit and Anna, the entertainment team. Judit in particular was just fabulous with the kids and so friendly and chatty. My children so looked forward to the kids disco every night. They did not have an easy job as the entertainment area was so small it was not ideal by any means. They were also the only two staff in entertainment so that limited what they could offer but they did a great job nonetheless. They have since gotten a 3rd staff member on the team so that might take the pressure off a bit. The hotel is not perfect and definite improvements could be made when we compare it to other hotels we have stayed in but we enjoyed it. Collapse
