Andrew welcomed us when we were informed our reservation had been cancelled at a nearby hotel. He arranged for a one room suite and could not have been more helpful. I recommend Hotel Stewart on your next trip to NYC. It is right in the heart of the city and right across from Madison Square Garden and Penn Station. Our room was clean and comfortable with fridge, microwave, plates and silverware and a small stove top. We had the added convenience of two full bathrooms. Andrew could not have been more helpful. We plan to return to the Hotel Stewart nd highly recommend it!! Collapse

Made a last minute booking at Stewart Hotel; boy am I glad I did. First time in New York City, so to be in the middle of the city Surrounded by literally everything is the best. Location is key and Stewart hotel is in the heart of it. MSG(Madison Square Garden) right across the street, Time Square (42nd st) a few blocks away, stores and restaurant all over, This is great ! But what I'm most excited about is customer service, I myself work in the field and know how important customer service is, the staff was impressive, Jessica and her team were perfect. I thank you for making my stay worth a while. I was pleasantly surprised how welcoming and accommodating the staff was, I give Jessica and her team 5 stars wish a higher rating was available. From proving me with a tooth brush to just a friendly genuine hello made my day. Thanks again guys!! Collapse

I was married on July 14th, 2017 and the Stewart Hotel hosted me and my guests for the weekend. I originally made a booking for a block of rooms when the hotel was called the Affinia Manhattan. A few months later (unbeknownst to me), hotel management/ownership was transferred to a new team and the hotel to a NEW NAME. As any bride may have been, I was confused, frazzled and frustrated by the change. I was worried that my arrangements and agreements with the Affinia hotel team would not be honored and that my guest block would be neglected. MY WAS I WRONG! I happened to visit the hotel to express my concern about the change in management. Sitting with tears, I was approached by the senior Conference Service Manager, Mary Perez. Mary reassured me that she my wedding, wedding arrangements and a my seamless experience mattered to her as much as they mattered to me. As skeptical as I was, Mary truly stood by her word and beyond! She was my contact person at the hotel for the next ten months. She was readily available and responsive to my MANY, MANY emails and requests. She arranged for my agreements with the Affinia to be honored allowing my guests to have an early check-in and for my guests to have a special parking price rate. She even personally made sure my welcome bags were distributed appropriately. She answered every and all questions and made almost daily changes to my reservations when my guests couldn't make up their minds! She even made sure a special gift basket, welcome snacks and champagne waited for my husband, myself and our parents in all of our rooms! Even when I apologized when I felt that my emails and requests were excessive, she explained that I should never apologize. Her response was, (true quote) "Maureen- there is no need to apologize. I am here to work with you and ensure this process is easy and flawless for you so you have 1 less thing to worry about. I made that commitment to you back a couple of months ago when you passed by the hotel with your parents and sister. I saw how concerned you were about the management transition and I promised this would not hinder in your wedding planning. It has been my pleasure servicing you and look forward to welcoming your friends and family next week. Please do not hesitate to contact me should I be of further assistance." As a bride, having this kind of support and partnership was SO INCREDIBLY WONDERFUL. I eventually came to know that the change in management at the hotel was a true BLESSING in disguise! Mary was my angel! My wedding experience at the Stewart Hotel was truly spectacular and my husband and I are so proud to have the Stewart Hotel as part of our wedding memories. The Stewart Hotel and Mary Perez will truly hold a special place in our hearts forever! Collapse

We recently spent 2 nights in the Stewart. It is a large hotel, our room was spacious (We had opted for an upgrade for $10 extra) so we had a seating area extra. It was spotless, comfortable and surprisingly considering its position on 7th Avenue opposite Maddison Sq Garden, it was quiet. The staff were helpful, the breakfast had a good variety, even if the staff seemed a bit off, not offering coffee or tea, and when asked for a pot of tea, had to be asked also for milk. The bar staff were really good. The hotel was not cheap by any means but was worth the money. Collapse
