Mini break in Glasgow

Stayed at the Grand Central Hotel. Supposedly recently refurbished. Initial room the bathroom was not up to scratch, sealant around the bath and the ceiling cracked and broken, also quite a small See More  Read more information room. Complained and got moved. This room was better although bathroom ceiling appeared to have had leaked, cracked and with damp patch. Rest of room was fine and bed was excellent. Breakfast was superbevery day! I travelled with 2 daughters to Glasgow. We stayed in Jurys Inn which is 5 mins walk from Central Station. It was near the river but also handy for Buchanan Street and all of the shops. Would definitely use this hotel again.
