Great 3 days

Stay Date: 09/03/15, a customer aged 25-44 who stayed at 4* Magic Circus Hotel at Disneyland Paris in Disneyland Paris wrote this review.

The package we got including our train and hotel was excellent. We just would have liked to have the tickets incorporated with the package and also a food package would have be ideal - the food was See More  Read more information so overpriced at Disney. Also, some of the other hotels did offer food packages, that would have been the only other thing that could have made this trip even better.   Collapse  Hide

Wonderful Paris

Stay Date: 11/03/15, a customer aged 45-64 from Brighton who stayed at 3* Faubourg Hotel 216-224 - Gare du Nord in Paris wrote this review.

The hotel was undergoing renovation so the bar was not in use. As I was travelling on my own this was disappointing. The hotel was in a very seedy area but the staff were very helpful and were doing See More  Read more information their best to keep guests happy in difficult circumstances (the renovation was very disruptive). The room was fine - warm, clean, with a safe and a fridge. The en-suite was very good. Plenty of hotwater. It would have been useful to know about the renovations in advance. A poor start turned into a very nice stay.   Collapse  Hide

Fantastic Stay at Timhotel Paris

Stay Date: 26/03/15, a customer aged 45-64 who stayed at 3* Timhotel Nation (Special Rate) in Paris wrote this review.

Very reasonably priced hotel which was perfect for a short stay in Paris. Basic room but great shower and very comfortable beds. Cleaned and tied every day. Lovely buffet style breakfast with a good See More  Read more information choice of food and drinks. Friendly helpful staff who were very happy to speak English if needed. Very close to Nation metro station which was perfect for travelling to main attractions. Easy totravel by metro as very well illustrated maps within the stations. Would definitely stay at this hotel again.   Collapse  Hide

Too short Super Break

Stay Date: 16/04/15, a customer aged 65+ who stayed at 3* Timhotel Paris Gare de l’est in Paris wrote this review.

The hotel was spotless but the shower was very small and awkward to enter and exit. The wardrobe was also quite small. The hotel was an easy walk from the Gare du Nord, and was in a great location See More  Read more information for getting around. The dining room was also spotless and the tables were cleared very quickly. The staff were very polite and helpful. There is a park almost opposite the hotel which was clean andfull of blossom trees. The Canal St.Martin is a short walk away. Make sure you visit L'Atmosphere for a meal -the food is fantastic and inexpensive. Bouillon Chartier Restaurant was well worth standingin the queue - it moved quite quickly and was very organised. The waiting staff had phenomenal memories as they write your order on the paper table cloth not on a note pad, and somehow remembered whatyou ordered and when to bring the next course and they were extremely cheerful and friendly- it was like visiting Paris from yesteryear. L'As du Fallafel was well worth a visit as the queue isorganised and they take you order and payment whilst you are queueing. The only downside is finding somewhere to sit and eat it. Take care crossing roads - the metro and RER are easy to navigate, buy acarnet of 10 tickets and ask for a free map (if you can wait this is cheaper at the metro). Try to avoid the metro when the Parisiens are trying to get to work as the carriages are packed, even so peopleremained very polite. Be prepared for beggars in the streets, metro and especially the Gare du Nord. The toilets below the Sacre - Coeur are beyond description however there is a kiosk and shop next tothe funicular and the toilets are spotless it cost €1 but was well worth it. The coffee is really nice and great after climbing to the top of The Dome's 300 steps - well worth it for a great 360view. Make sure you use the toilets in shops, cafes and museums before you leave. If you can, try to go to Sainte-Chapelle and Musee d'Orsay in time for opening as the queues get very long.   Collapse  Hide

Fantastic Adventure in Paris

Stay Date: 13/05/15, a customer aged 45-64 who stayed at 2* Victoria Hotel - Opera in Paris wrote this review.

We stayed at the Victoria Hotel in the Opera area. Drove through an archway into a narrow alleyway and as some renovation work being carried out our first impressions were not good. However, the See More  Read more information staff were all friendly, the rooms were small but clean with really comfy beds - shower was extremely bijou but there was always hot water. Breakfast was plentiful; room looked out onto road we arrivedon and looked pretty with plants etc on opposite building. Excellent spot for getting around and near to underground etc. Some great bars/restaurants nearby. Recommend the hop on hop off bus tour iftime is short and you want to see as much as possible - brilliant! Seine river cruise provided by SuperBreak as a 'freebie' was also great and appreciated.   Collapse  Hide

A Great Paris Break

Stay Date: 24/05/15, a customer aged 45-64 who stayed at 2* Little Hotel - République in Paris wrote this review.

Paris is a great city to visit. The hotel was basic but clean and the staff friendly. Travel around Paris is very easy on the Metro and the whole city is a great experience. Brilliant sightseeing in Paris

Stay Date: 26/05/15, a customer aged 45-64 from United Kingdom who stayed at 2* Paris France Hotel in Paris wrote this review.

We stayed at the Paris France Hotel which had all the facilities we needed, good appearance from outside lobby was lovely. Very well presented hotel staff - very friendly and spoke English, nothing See More  Read more information was too much trouble. Hotel room was on the 5th floor, with good stair and lift access. Our room was fairly basic but was clean and tidy. We booked a double room but found we had separate beds though,it was ok as after a long day of sightseeing we only needed to sleep to be ready for another long day of sightseeing. Breakfast was croissants, rolls, butter and preserve with orange juice and coffee- very Parisienne! The metro station was very close by - just a 10 minute walk to Notre Dame. It was good to walk and see more, it was about a 1hr leisure walk to the Eiffel Tower along the Seine. Our trip was to see the sights of Paris and that we certainly did. Lovely place, very architectural with a very relaxed cafe culture and excellent restaurants - well worth the visit.   Collapse  Hide
