About Wembley Stadium

The iconic home of football, Wembley Stadium first opened as the Empire Stadium in 1923. The famous twin towers have formed the backdrop to some of English footballs most famous moments, including of course the World Cup victory in 1966. Since a multi-million pound rebuild in 2007, the new Wembley has become one of the finest stadiums anywhere in the world.
