About The Grand National

The Grand National is the best known steeplechase in the world and one of the highlights of the UK racing calendar. Run every year since 1839 at Aintree Racecourse outside Liverpool, it is regarded as one of the toughest races in the sport. A punishing course of over four miles tests horse and jockey to the limit and features iconic jumps and fences such as Becher’s Brook, The Chair and the Canal Turn. With prize money of £1 million, this is the most valuable prize in “The Sport of Kings”.


West Tip Stand Package:

The West Tip area is one of the most in demand sections of the racecourse combining a lively atmosphere with the convenience of more exclusive seating and facilities, with tickets including; 1 nights accommodation at the 3* Mercure Bolton Georgian House including breakfast, reserved seating in the West Tip area and return coach transfers (typically a 35 minutes journey from Aintree Racecourse however traffic will be heavier than normal).

The race schedule (timings for the day) are TBA. Itinerary will be sent prior to travel.

The West Tip Stand Package also includes a reserved covered seat, great views of the home straight and of the final fences, West Tip private bar, as well as access to the facilities in Tattersalls, private toilet facilities for West Tip ticket holders only, viewing access of the Parade Ring and Winners’ Enclosure, access to the Red Rum Garden, with live entertainment throughout the day, access to the Irish Bar, with screens and betting facilities, live music in the Aintree Pavilion throughout the day, with a named artist act after racing, Tote betting facilities, plus big screen viewing throughout the area.
