Little disappointed with hotel especially the bathroom as there was no heating. Public rooms could do with decorating also triple glazing may be a good idea as there's lots of noise from traffic. See More  Read more information Staff at breakfast were not friendly. Hotel is well located for the tube and the area was quite grand. All in all enjoyed our stay but would not stay again at this hotel.   Collapse  Hide

Airport Hotel and Parking

Stay Date: 02/04/13, a customer aged 25-44 who stayed at 2* Europa Hotel and 8 days parking in Gatwick wrote this review.

Easy access for Gatwick. We are a family of 2 adults and 3 children - we usually have difficulty in getting accomodation which will fit us all in one room (without having to book 2 rooms.). Although See More  Read more information I phoned in advance regarding a gluten free breakfast (and was told this would be available), staff and chef did not seem particularly aware of what this meant. The chef assured us that severalbreakfast dishes were gluten free (inc hash browns and baked beans) - I questioned this but he was adamant. However, shortly afterwards my children and my husband all experienced varying degrees of stomachpain (all coeliacs) - not good just before the start of a holiday - my son was doubled over in pain. As coeliacs will know, this will put their health back by 6 months as they have now had gluten intheir diets.   Collapse  Hide

Relaxing in Cheshire

Stay Date: 12/04/13, a customer aged 65+ from Holmfirth who stayed at 3* Mercure Chester North Woodhey House Hotel (2 Night Offer & 1st Night Dinner) in Chester (Nr) wrote this review.

We chose this hotel because it is only a few miles from the National Boating Museum at Ellesmere Port. The hotel was clean and comfortable and the staff were helpful and friendly. The only See More  Read more information slightly negative comment I have is with regard to breakfast. What was available was good quality and nicely served but if you don't want a cooked breakfast you have to make do with grapefruit, cereal ortoast. On the first morning there was yogurt but this had run out on the second day! There were no cooked meats, cheese fresh bread or rolls.   Collapse  Hide
