London Break

Stay Date: 07/05/13, a customer aged 45-64 from Tregaron who stayed at 3* Royal National Hotel in Russell Square wrote this review.

The hotel room was basic but clean. The breakfast very good value and of a good standard - thick bacon well cooked. The restaurant where breakfast was served (Windsor Room) was very crowded and on See More  Read more information our last morning ( Saturday) there was a queue to get in and at one point there was a guest behind our table eating from the tray on her knees as there was no room at a table. The hotel was located ina nice area within walking distance of the BM and the very pleasant Russell and Tavistock Squares. We recommend the Atrium for a coffee or cocktails with live piano music. Very welcoming and pleasant.   Collapse  Hide

Golden Girls Reunite

Stay Date: 11/05/13, a customer aged 45-64 who stayed at 5* The Principal London in Russell Square wrote this review.

We decided to celebrate our reunion with a theatre and hotel break. We saw The Bodyguard which was very good if a little loud. After the show we had a meal at Smollensky's in the Strand. The food See More  Read more information was OK and I wouldn't necessary go there again on a Saturday evening as there were a lot of hen parties taking place which made the place rather noisy. We stayed overnight in the Russell Hotel whichwas very good. We had a room upgrade when we arrived at no extra charge. The rooms were very comfortable. Breakfast was included and was OK but nothing special.   Collapse  Hide
