Pleasantly surprised guest

Stay Date: 23/08/16, a customer aged 65+ who stayed at 4* Brook Mollington Banastre Hotel (2 Night Offer & 1st Night Dinner) in Chester wrote this review.

Stayed at the Brook Mollington Banastre Hotel. The reviews for the hotel were very harsh but my apprehension was unwarranted. The hotel, whilst not exactly The Ritz, was good enough for fussy me. See More  Read more information The food, breakfast and evening meal were excellent and the staff were really nice and helpful. The redecoration of the hotel is obviously taking place so anyone booking this hotel have no doubts toenjoy.   Collapse  Hide

Hotel with that little extra

Stay Date: 22/08/16, a customer aged 65+ who stayed at 4* The Cavendish London in Mayfair wrote this review.

It's the first time we have stayed in a hotel of this quality. While the hotel was really nice, it was the attention given by the staff and the extra 'little things' that made it really special, See More  Read more information like being offered a clean cup for your second coffee at breakfast.   Collapse  Hide

Stay Date: 25/08/16, a customer aged 25-44 from Bedfordshire who stayed at 3* Holiday Inn Walsall M6 Junction 10 (2 Night Offer & 1st Night Dinner) in Walsall wrote this review.

The hotel was in a great location, just a few minutes from junction 10 of the M6. Our room was clean and tidy with everything in there you could need for a few nights stay. The first night we had See More  Read more information dinner in the hotel restaurant, after reserving a table when checking in. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the food was delicious. Couldn't fault it. The room we had was positioned in aquiet area which led to a very peaceful night's sleep. We had breakfast in the hotel both mornings of the stay and it was set up well. Lots of places to go sit without being too close to the othertables. There was a good choice of hot and cold food which was well stocked and refilled regularly. The pool provided at the hotel was small, but ideal for the number of people that were using it.There was also a Jacuzzi and sauna available for use too. Overall we had a brilliant weekend and would definitely visit this hotel again :)   Collapse  Hide

'Beautiful' Trip to London

Stay Date: 26/08/16, a customer aged 65+ who stayed at 4* DoubleTree by Hilton Tower of London in Tower Hill wrote this review.

The hotel was big but didn't feel crowded, it was clean and well furnished and the staff were really friendly and helpful. The Sky Lounge is really special and the views fantastic, however on a hot See More  Read more information Bank Holiday Friday night was very busy. Everything was great, the breakfast was the only disappointment, for the first time I can remember we had to queue in a hotel for breakfast for around 15minutes to get a table. There is a sign in front of the restaurant saying the best time to turn up and it is the earlier the better but by then it is too late. It would be good to point this out atbooking/ checking in or in the room. We went at 9.30 and despite the turnover I found the cooked breakfast cold and unappetising. But there was lots of fruit, and continental style breakfast too, but I haveto say overall uninspiring compared to the rest of the stay which was excellent.   Collapse  Hide

Chester

Stay Date: 28/08/16, a customer aged 45-64 from Doncaster who stayed at 4* Crowne Plaza Chester in Chester wrote this review.

The location of the Crowne Plaza is brilliant for visiting Chester, easy access to the River, the race course and the city itself. The room was quiet and had air conditioning which was a God send See More  Read more information as the weather was perfect. If unfamiliar with Chester I would recommend going on a city tour bus and get a feel for the city and what you 'don't' want to miss whilst your there. A lazy river cruiseis a nice way to relax after eating lunch, or working up an appetite if you prefer rowing or pedal boats!   Collapse  Hide
