Best Yet!

Stay Date: 24/03/18, a customer aged 45-64 from Sheffield who stayed at 5* Radisson Blu Edwardian, Hampshire in Leicester Square wrote this review.

Obey the years we have been to London many times. This was by far the best hotel we’ve stayed in and hope to go back soon. The position was great. No need for us to use the underground as everything See More  Read more information was in easy walking distance. The welcome on arrival made you feel valued as a customer and the Prosecco was much appreciated. From checking in to checking out everything flowed. The restaurantoffered Mexican and Peruvian Tapas which was a first and most enjoyable experience and turned out to be the cheapest meal of the trip. The facilities were spotlessly clean and warm, which when it was coldoutside made it tempting to go back to and have some wine in the bar and watch the world go by. The breakfast had a table waiting service and you could also help yourself from the selection of HotEnglish food and and cold continental foods on selection. The rooms were very clean and modern with bath and shower facilities. The lifts were running at all times. We chose to be high up as we thoughtwe would be disturbed by the noise in Leicester Square but the windows were double glazed and the rooms so quiet. No noise was heard from inside or outside the hotel. All in all the most enjoyable stayin London to press and will definitely be going back.   Collapse  Hide

Great getaway

Stay Date: 08/04/18, a customer aged 45-64 from Leven who stayed at 5* Grand Hotel & Spa in York wrote this review.

The Grand Hotel & Spa is in an excellent location just on the other side of the medieval wall across from the train station, 2 minutes and you're there. The hotel staff from all departments were See More  Read more information excellent and attentive, nothing too much trouble. We were booked in a twin room which was much larger than the norm, with a nice layout with table and chairs to eat from which we did one night gettinga pizza from room service, very tasty and freshly made. There was also a separate bathroom and toilet which helped in the mornings. The breakfast area was well laid out and even on mornings when itwas busy you didn't feel crowded or rushed. Our trip was in April and breakfast was served from 6.30 till 10.30 so that was a good spread of time allowing those who needed to leave early still get foodand those on a more leisurely timetable to relax and enjoy. On our arrival day, we went to the local Sainsbury's which was just around the corner and not too far from the hotel, and brought back somesandwiches to eat in the room. There is a nice bar/lounge in the hotel which serves light food, but a bit expensive. Just to say that what is served there can also be ordered for the room. All in allan excellent 3 night break, and you can go at your own pace. This was our first time visiting York from Scotland and found the convenience of the train great and we will definitely be making futuretrips. And would also highly recommend this hotel.   Collapse  Hide
