A Wedding Break

Stay Date: 14/10/06, a customer who stayed at 3* The Angel Hotel in Cardiff wrote this review.

I always love going down to Cardiff. Apart from it being our capital city it has a particular vibrancy and youth about the place. It's always a great place for reunions and catching up with old See More  Read more information friends. The fact that we had to go down to the city for a wedding was just an added bonus for a night away - a change of scenery. I've always found superbreak to be a convenient way of booking shortbreaks, and was extremely pleased to find a room in the hotel where the wedding was held. One hitch - nobody thought of telling us when we were booking that the Cardiff marathon was being held justoutside the hotel door on Sunday and that our car would be stuck in the car park until 2pm - just a bit awkward with a 2 year old little girl waiting for us at home! Otherwise a lovely weekend.   Collapse  Hide

Cardiff - Stag Weekend

Stay Date: 26/01/07, a customer from Wiltshire who stayed at 3* The Angel Hotel (2 Night Offer & 1st Night Dinner) in Cardiff wrote this review.

A great loacation for a stag or hen weekend. Highly recomended by my party. There are a number of local drinking establishements to suit all, from traditional pubs to modern bars. Locals were See More  Read more information friendly and welcoming, particuarly on a Friday night. An element to consider when you are planning to go out for the night is to ensure you wear the correct footwear - unfortuantly Cardiff is stillliving in the 80's; not letting anyone in with "trainers". Overall - a good weekend.   Collapse  Hide

Short Break in Sarn Park

Stay Date: 25/02/07, a customer who stayed at 3* Days Inn Bridgend Cardiff in Sarn Park (Nr Bridgend) wrote this review.

The booking material for Day's Inn at Sarn service area (Jcn 36 of the M4) indicated that food was available at the adjacent service area. On this basis I did not eat in Cardiff as I passed through. See More  Read more information Arriving at the hotel at 9:15pm on Sunday evening I found all of the restaurants were closed at the service area.
