Short Break in Bruges
Stay Date: 26/11/12, a customer aged 65+ from Eastbourne who stayed at 4* Grand Hotel Casselbergh Bruges in Bruges wrote this review.
This was a great hotel, very comfortable and good value. It is centrally situated to the Market Square, and was a great base from which to explore the city. The Casselbergh Hotel has an ambiance of luxury, with traditional furnishings and comfort to a very high standard. There are a number of secluded public areas in a series of interlinked rooms, offering a choice of seating areas. We werethere as a group of 4, and had no problem finding a cosy corner each evening, at the same time feeling very much part of the relaxed atmosphere of the hotel. Our standard room was perfect, large, comfortable and always warm (we were there in November), with superb bathroom with shower and separate bath. We would look forward to returning. We arrived by car, and our only difficulty was manoeuvringour car from the narrow street into the hotel's underground car park via the vehicle lift. However, having done it once, I would have no qualms about next time, and it was certainly worth the 20euros/night for peace of mind. All part of the adventure of a few days in Bruges. The hotel is very convenient to Markt Square, where we spent most of our time, with Christmas Market and ice skating toadd to the atmosphere in the evening - a real fairytale scene. The Ice Sculpture Festival close to the main station was also well worth the visit (open until 6th Jan'13).

Our hotel The Grand Casselbergh was extremely comfortable, clean and breakfast was very good. We visited several museums with a memorable climb to the top of the Belfort Tower. A very good visit to the folk museum with a demonstration on making sweets. The chocolate museum also had an excellent demonstration. We enjoyed horse and carriage trips and canal boat rides with pleasant guides.Chocolate shops were lovely and not expensive.

Stay Date: 12/07/14, a customer aged 45-64 from London who stayed at 5* Dukes Palace Hotel in Bruges wrote this review.
From the moment we stepped into the hotel everything was perfect from the staff to the room to the upgrade to the breakfast.....ah the breakfast, I have stayed in many 5* hotels all over the world & this is the best breakfast I have ever had....truly outstanding. Shame that the lift was being renovated on the day of our departure was the only downside. Excellent, excellent, excellent.

Bruges in a weekend.
Stay Date: 10/04/15, a customer aged 45-64 from Chichester who stayed at 5* Dukes Palace Hotel in Bruges wrote this review.
Our superior room was on the top floor and was nothing special. The hotel restaurant was really special though. We had the 4 course Terre et Mer menu, which was excellent and good value. I'd recommend eating there at least one evening. Visit the de Garre pub for a beer (well hidden).

Great stay in Bruges
Stay Date: 06/02/16, a customer aged 45-64 who stayed at 5* Dukes Palace Hotel in Bruges wrote this review.
Fantastic hotel and totally worth its 5 stars. Breakfast was brill with loads of choice and big blocks of chocolate...bliss. Room was massive with heated bathroom floor, loads of wardrobe and drawer space plus tea and coffee machine. Superb value. Tip is to buy a Bruges visit card at the train station, we got a 48 hour pass for 47 euros each and definitely saved on the entrance fees.
