Bournemouth Airport Hotels

The sheer number of hotels in Bournemouth should give you a general idea about how popular this seaside town is. Bournemouth is a vibrant town with a variety of shops, restaurants, Bournemouth hotels, buzzing nightlife and endless Dorset countryside to explore. It lies at the eastern end of the Jurassic Coast with seven miles of golden beaches, beautiful parks and award winning gardens. There is plenty to do in Bournemouth, so get the most out of your visit with us. But before you get on with booking your Bournemouth hotel, let us tell you about some of the best things to get up too whilst there?

  • The Beach - It would be a crime to visit Bournemouth and not take a stroll along one of the UK?s top seaside hotspots. With seven miles of golden sands and sparkling sea, Bournemouth offers some of the best beaches in the UK. Yet the town itself is never that far away.
  • Shopping - Once you are done with the beach, but not quite ready for dinner and your hotel room, why not spend some time exploring the shops in Bournemouth. The town boasts all the regular high street stores you could want, whilst also offering a wide range of boutiques, cafes and specialist shops. Venture out a little further and you get to 'the village' which is Bournemouth's old town centre. This elegant district offers a wide range of shops including design specialists, delicatessens, beauty shops and restaurants. Speaking of restaurants-
  • Eat out - With over 250 restaurants in the town, eating well in Bournemouth is easy. Once you have popped back to your hotel in Bournemouth to freshen up, there is a smorgasbord of restaurants to choose from. We would suggest trying out some of the local seafood as it is unlikely you will get fresher anywhere else.
If you are looking for a weekend break by the sea, then look no further as Bournemouth has it all. Take a look at some of our Bournemouth hotels now. Alternatively, explore more UK weekend breaks.

Beach Bums at Bournemouth

Stay Date: 08/04/16, a customer aged 18-24 from United Kingdom who stayed at 3* Britannia Heathlands Hotel in Bournemouth wrote this review.

Enjoyed the holiday from start to finish, went with my boyfriend, it was his first time down south and my second and every minute was bliss, would be better in summer because the wind was a bit See More  Read more information chilly so we couldn't swim but would love to go again. The restaurant was great, good cultural experience. The cabs were really quick all the time and frequent, the locals were friendly when asking themfor directions or the best night out. Only not so good part was a bouncer thinking my ID was fake cause he had never heard of the country but it got sorted out and we had a good night either way andthe night before was great, try Cameo and Revolution - great night out! Big and diverse. Would recommend Bournemouth!   Collapse  Hide

Weekend in Bournemouth

Stay Date: 01/04/16, a customer aged 65+ from Hertfordshire who stayed at 3* Carrington House Hotel in Bournemouth wrote this review.

The room was on the top floor and was only accessible by one dilapidated lift or stairs. The shower was almost unusable having hardly any water pressure. The Kings Bar (Java Lounge?) has a sign See More  Read more information saying that from 18.00 to 2100 is Happy Hour. What the sign neglects to say is that Happy Hour is only Monday to Thursday - a big disappointment! Not impressed with the hotel but the staff were verypleasant.   Collapse  Hide

Carlton Bournemouth

Stay Date: 11/03/16, a customer aged 65+ from Gb who stayed at 3* Hallmark Hotel Bournemouth Carlton (2 Night Offer/1st Night Dinner & Wine or Afternoon Tea) in Bournemouth wrote this review.

Overall we enjoyed our stay in Bournemouth, the Hotel is in an excellent position but needs updating in some areas, not all their fault like the boiler packing up so no indoor swimming pool but the See More  Read more information worn carpets and squeaking floorboards are. Our bedroom was quiet as requested but tired and the bathroom whilst large had leaking taps, self draining basin and slow filling toilet, did not try theshower as it was too high to reach. No fault with the breakfasts at all, excellent selection and replenished often. One evening meal satisfactory the next night far from, very poor service and toughovercooked meat. The group owners are spending money on the exterior hopefully the rooms will follow. Go but limit your expectations.   Collapse  Hide

Good family break in Bournemouth

Stay Date: 15/02/16, a customer aged 45-64 who stayed at 3* Carrington House Hotel in Bournemouth wrote this review.

Great location for a stroll to the beach. The hotel room is comfortable and it was great that the extra beds were put in for the children, and we had rooms next to each other (we were a group of 3 See More  Read more information adults & 3 children ages 3, 5, 7.) The children really enjoyed the table tennis, soft play area and pool, which was a really nice temperature & had a lovely warm changing room. The furniture and d├ęcoris a bit dated and tired but we didn't mind, it doesn't affect your enjoyment if you're comfortable. The bar prices are a bit pricey for alcohol, but very reasonable in the day for light meals andvery tasty latte. Great taxi availability for group of 6 every time. Staff pleasant and helpful, and very busy. We enjoyed breakfast and especially the porridge. We didn't eat at restaurant in eveningsas 7pm opening was bit late for the children and it was nice to try other places locally. Really enjoyed a restful stay.   Collapse  Hide
