Because our time was limited we tried to do as much a possible and managed to pack a lot in! we visited Chinatown, Covent Garden the London Eye and did the Duck tour which took us overland and on See More  Read more information the river. London Weekend Hotel

Imperial hotel was a good, value for money hotel. The room was clean, comfortable & functional with good views over Russell Square. The self service breakfast was excellent with a good choice of See More  Read more information basic foods making a typical english breakfast to set one up for the day. The lifts were quick and reliable with no waiting. The only improvement I would like is the use of a key card rather than themetal Key on a large & old fashioned key rod. Hotel was ideally situated for a visit to the British Museum which was a 10 minute walk away. It is 5 minutes from the underground and only a couple of stops from Covent Garden. Room was clean and See More  Read more information quiet but tv remote needed a new battery and my bedside light did not work. Breakfast was just about passable but we were lucky to get there before the rush as people were queing by the time we leftand the staff were quite slow in clearing tables and getting tea and coffee to you. Recently stayed at the President hotel it was excellent, the room was clean, spacious and warm, with tea and coffee that was replaced daily. The breakfast was excellent with something for everyone, See More  Read more information we had the full breakfast option. The hotel was 2 minutes walk from Russell Square tube station and had a tesco express nearby which was useful. Would definitely stay again.
