London

Stay Date: 22/02/13, a customer aged 45-64 from Durham who stayed at 5* The Principal London in Russell Square wrote this review.

Okay visit - Hotel Russell not as nice as I remember, especially the breakfast - cold - and the evening meal menu choice was much more limited than when I have visisted in the past - I used to love See More  Read more information this hotel but wouldn't go again. Unfortunately the train back was held up for two hours in York, and there was no trolley service and the food counter ran out of food eventually - a pain whentravelling with a frail 85 year old. Overall I have had better trips.   Collapse  Hide

Hotel location for Leicester Square and theatres was great. Walkable or underground very near. Hotel room faced main road therefore traffic noise at all times. Due to hotel's age no double glazing. Excellent short break with a well located hotel (Hotel Russel). Room small in hotel but I guess this is London. Breakfast excellent and bar area very pleasant. No free Wi-Fi in the hotel was a let See More  Read more information down however most local coffee shops have free Wi-Fi anyway. Ate at the Salaam Namaste on night which was excellent. Went to see Let it Be in the Savoy Theater which was exceptional. Overall a greatshort. Definitely using Superbreak for our next trip to London   Collapse  Hide
