Great Theatre Break to London

Stay Date: 07/11/14, a customer aged 45-64 from Yelverton who stayed at 3* Royal National Hotel in Russell Square wrote this review.

Ideally situated for the theatre and getting around London. Hotel was very basic and not particularly clean, under beds was disgusting. Small rooms with one bed being up against a radiator that See More  Read more information could not be adjusted, making it too hot to sleep but with the window open it was too noisy and too cold for the person in the other bed. Tea and coffee were practically non existent. Holes in towels andbedding. Breakfast was a nightmare finding a table to sit at was near impossible. Plus side, plenty of hot water.   Collapse  Hide

London Break

Stay Date: 27/11/14, a customer aged 45-64 who stayed at 3* Imperial Hotel London in Russell Square wrote this review.

Booking Service with Super Break - Staff very helpful and gave good advice. Imperial Hotel, Russell Square, London. Executive Twin Room on 4th floor - clean and comfortable with good lighting and See More  Read more information space. Only downside was noise from an external extraction fan. Had complimentary 3 course evening meal in Saracen's Carvery - food good - staff not very pleasant. Lunch in Atrium Bar & Cafe -staff very kind and helpful. Breakfast buffet ok. Good location for central London. Tube nearby though very busy on Piccadilly Line throughout our Stay. Travelled by Taxi to Harold Pinter Theatre -expensive for a short journey. Theatre Sunny Afternoon - story of "The Kinks" excellent show, thoroughly enjoyed it. Visited Hyde Park Winter Wonderland and had pre-booked for the Magical Ice Kingdom- worth a visit but quite a walk from the entrance. Hyde Park Tube was extremely busy and the train overcrowded on the return journey.   Collapse  Hide

Avoid Black Friday

Stay Date: 28/11/14, a customer aged 45-64 who stayed at 3* Imperial Hotel London in Russell Square wrote this review.

The Imperial Hotel was decent enough place, a little threadbare on places but the breakfasts were very nice, the staff very polite and helpful, Russell Square is a great location, plenty of places See More  Read more information to eat on an evening and loads of quaint pubs, we will not travel with grand central trains ever again though we had to stand all the way from Eaglescliffe to London and all the way home was the same, packed like cattle could not move one inch and the train was so hot people were getting quite distressed as you cannot open a widow on these trains, never saw one conductor to alert them to this, thisreally spoilt the whole weekend, amazing that they can get away with it, never ever will we travel with them again. Will use Superbreak again as the service was very good.   Collapse  Hide

London at the President

Stay Date: 24/11/14, a customer aged 45-64 from Durham who stayed at 3* President Hotel in Russell Square wrote this review.

This was our fourth visit to the President with superbreak as we really like it, mainly because of its excellent location near Russell square and within walking distance of theatre, river and other See More  Read more information main tourist attractions. The main rooms are comfortable and cosy, staff are polite and the dinner deal means it is good value. It has a good ambience. Our last superbreak was to the Royalinternational but that hotel is much poorer than The President. The customer service agent who dealt with our booking was also very pleasant too.   Collapse  Hide
