Weekend In London

Stay Date: 20/11/15, a customer aged 45-64 who stayed at 3* President Hotel in Russell Square wrote this review.

The hotel is nice in a good area and great for Kings Cross and the tube stations, bars and restaurants. The bed was very very hard and uncomfortable and a bad night's sleep was had. The room was See More  Read more information otherwise great with lots of hot water and tea and coffee making equipment, room service called in the morning to see if we wanted more coffee, towels etc. The food in the restaurant was ok. In theevening however they served your starters before serving any drinks, a bit strange. The breakfast was very good, full English or fresh fruits.   Collapse  Hide

Lovely location, shabby hotel.

Stay Date: 21/11/15, a customer aged 25-44 who stayed at 3* President Hotel in Russell Square wrote this review.

The hotel was in a great location only around a minutes walk to Russell Square underground station and you pass a nice little pub. The staff throughout the hotel were all very friendly except one See More  Read more information extremely rude bartender who is obviously in the wrong job! The hotel and room itself seemed clean but very shabby, definitely in need of decorating. The room was a good size and I slept well but waswoken early by very loud guests and members of staff talking about a flooded room and then using a machine probably twice as loud as a Hoover to suck up the water! We had to queue for about 10 minutesfor breakfast because it was so busy but I think this worked to our advantage as it was buffet style meaning everything was fresh and still hot. Overall I thought the hotel was in a great location butcould use some work.   Collapse  Hide

London Theatre Break

Stay Date: 20/11/15, a customer aged 25-44 who stayed at 4* Radisson Blu Edwardian, Kenilworth in Bloomsbury wrote this review.

This hotel looked fantastic on arrival, very clean, enough space and lovely room overall. However, the noise level from the street throughout the whole night let it down dramatically. It did take See More  Read more information the shine off our stay - in one of our rooms the secondary glazing panel was actually missing. The staff and facilities did help outweigh this though - reception staff so helpful in directing us theright way with tips on where to go/where to eat and gave us a useful map. The show we went to see was fantastic - War Horse, we booked premium matinee tickets and it was well worth it, as our seats wereperfect. The hotel was so close to the theatre, very easy to walk there and back without any problem.   Collapse  Hide
