Stay Date: 01/05/19, a customer aged 45-64 who stayed at 3* President Hotel in Russell Square wrote this review.

President Hotel was very good, staff, cleanliness and food only improvement was that the beds were on the lumpy side. Hotel location was perfect right next to Russell Sq. tube station, best way to See More  Read more information travel around. Best high tea ever at the Grosvenor Hotel real 5* service, Tina Turner The Musical was fantastic and Harry Potter Studios was brilliant. Covent Garden street performers were diverse andextremely entertaining. The 1st class rail travel on LNER is to be recommended. Overall near perfect break.   Collapse  Hide

London break

Stay Date: 18/04/19, a customer aged 45-64 from Stanley who stayed at 3* Tavistock Hotel in Russell Square wrote this review.

Short break booked at the last minute. Hotel had everything you needed apart from air con and we stayed over Easter when the weather was glorious but you melted at night. Had a meal included on the See More  Read more information first night. We used hotel restaurant and it stated you could order from a la carte menu but when we went in it was an Indian Buffet. There wasn’t a lot of choice but we both found something to eat.Breakfast was much better plenty of choice. Hotel close to Russell Square and only a 20 minute walk to Leicester Square.   Collapse  Hide

Shawn Mendes at the O2

Stay Date: 17/04/19, a customer aged 45-64 from United Kingdom who stayed at 3* Royal National Hotel in Russell Square wrote this review.

Probably driving to London wasn’t the best option. Traffic on approach to Dartford crossing rubbish, and unfortunately due to climate protesters, getting home through London was hideous the next See More  Read more information day. Found an overnight parking for £17 just outside London congestion area and walked 15 mins to Royal National Hotel. A huge hotel in dire need of tidying and decorating. It served a purpose, a tripleroom on 5th floor. Grout and shower surround in need of replacing, black and mildewed, shower curtain rail rusty, but good water volume from the shower head. Only 2 electric sockets in the room, takea multi adaptor for charging phones and chargers, and extra multi plug adaptor for straighteners or manage with swapping plugs around! Beds were reasonably comfortable but no air con and no blackoutcurtains. Pizzas from Blooms pizza cafe on site were pretty tasty and fairly good value. Breakfast included in our deal, very average, cooked breakfast lukewarm but very difficult to keep buffet foodhot, cheap white bread already toasted not particularly exciting, bread rolls also not very special. No decent coffee, a complete must these days. Short walk to Russell Square underground station andTesco express 5 mins away. Easy quick check in and out at hotel. Super Break suite on second level of suites at O2, quick entry through VIP entrance minimal queuing. Comfy padded chairs and cupholders for strange design plastic beakers, ordered drinks via iPad at bar, pretty quick service. Good view but not close enough according to the teens I took - they would have wanted to be on stage withShawn though. Would definitely consider Super Break's package again but maybe consider a different hotel if I had the choice.   Collapse  Hide

London Break

Stay Date: 15/04/19, a customer aged 65+ from Merseyside who stayed at 3* President Hotel in Russell Square wrote this review.

President Hotel at Russell Sq. was ideally located for Euston station and within walking distance of everything we wanted to do/see. The hotel was modern, clean and every member of staff was See More  Read more information approachable, friendly and professional. Our room was clean and well furnished with everything we needed for a short stay. Restaurant was very good. Carvery dinner was well cooked and plentiful. Wine wasreasonably priced (we paid under £20 for a nice bottle). Breakfast was buffet style and although the restaurant was very busy, the food was well cooked, hot and the selection very good. We willdefinitely use the President as our base for our future London breaks. A big “thank you” to the whole President Team.   Collapse  Hide

Four go to London

Stay Date: 13/04/19, a customer aged 65+ from Harrogate who stayed at 3* Tavistock Hotel in Russell Square wrote this review.

From start to finish excellent, didn't always go to plan but memorable. Train on time going and back, table seating, could book in early at Tavistock Hotel, very very clean rooms all working See More  Read more information facilities, surprised by adjoining doors made things more laughable! We did not want an Indian buffet for evening meal but had beautiful burger in the bar area at a very reasonable price. Breakfast hot, plenty of choice. Must mention Jusseppi lovely conversation with him before we left. Maurice in reception gave exact directions to attractions. Found being able to leave luggage for 50p a bag whenchecking out very convenient before our train time. We saw plenty of attractions, theatre, museum, markets, hopped on and off numerous buses. Weather was cold wind but dry and bright. All in all we allagreed excellent weekend.   Collapse  Hide

Stay Date: 09/04/19, a customer aged 65+ who stayed at 3* President Hotel in Russell Square wrote this review.

A surprise cooked breakfast set us up for the day. Getting around London was so easy, using contactless bank cards instead of buying Oyster cards.
