out of 5I would reccommend this Hotel. The Staff were friendly and courtious. The meals were most enjoyable. The 1 evening meal which was included in our 2 night stay was delicious. Thanks to all for an enjoyable 2 day visit.

out of 5Whitney Manor is a great old manor house that was destroyed by fire in 1933 owned now by english heritage who have started to rebuild the gardens, we spent all day there the ruins are open to walk around and full descriptions of what each room was used for.
Rambling In The Severn Valley

out of 5The purpose of this trip arranged in October last was for four of us to take a ride on the severn valley railway and walk one of the rambles from stations along the line. In October that was feasible but in January the railway was unfortunately closed. Undeterred we drove to arley and walked from there over the hills and back along the riverbank. The day was glorious and culminated in our sitting outside a little tea room at arley in the sunshine having a well-earned hot drink. A splendid day's exercise was had by all. The hotel accomodation and facilities were excellent but two points were troublesome. Firstly can you please tell the chef what chips are? - they are not huge partly cooked wedges of potato no matter how tastefully arranged on the plate. Secondly it was disturbing at check-out to be presented with a bill for the cost of the stay when it was all pre-paid. Happily the issue was resolved but it was frustrating to say the least.

out of 5A wonderful break after Christmas and New Year for recharging the batteries as weather so mild we were able to explore the Stourport area on foot and by car. Hotel was outstanding and incredible value.

out of 5The snow was all around us but we had a warm fun evening in the form of a murder mystery. The cast were excellent and the food was hot and well prepared. We had lots of fun and as it was a birthday treat we all agreed it was a good choice. Really pleased it went ahead considering the bad weather.
