Weekend in Dubai

I work in Oman and take a frequent break in Dubai. We have been staying in hotels in Dubai for about 12 years and have tried all the five star hotels when tourism was not so prevalent. This hotel was rather clostrophobic but the waiter service in the mediteranien resturant was superb.

Good Break in Dubai

Hotel was very difficult to find. Probably should not have hired a car. Hotel excellent. Good relaxing holiday. All hotel staff excellent - very helpful. Food and drink very reasonably priced.

traffic problems horrendous 1hr/30mins to do 5 miles must choose times carefully for going into city Some Malls very long waits for taxi back to hotel eg city center mall evening waited 1hour 3/4for taxi Friday evenings even worse I notice very big changes over past 4yearly visits, traffic pollution from all building works need to pick hotel very carefully so as to be away form building works going 24hours
