Getting Around In York
A customer from Newton Stewart who stayed at this hotel wrote this review.
The best part of our break was the public transport arrangements in York. We used the Park & Ride system which was very efficient and saved us the hassle of trying to find a parking space in the city. It is very reasonably priced too. The Road Train from the Railway Museum to the Minster was good value too. The only drawback to our visit was the overwhelming smell of cigarette smoke in the bedroom. The staff were very obliging and found another room where the smell was not quite so overpowering.

Lovely Stay in York

My husband and myself went to York for a two day break. We visited York Minster and I was truly overwhelmed with its beauty. We didn't go to do any tours just wandered around York shopping. It is a lovely place and I would love to go back for a longer stay. We stayed at a Travelodge and the staff were very friendly and the room ideal for our needs.
