Travelodge Manchester Sportcity Reviews (Manchester)

I booked a Superbreak deal to Manchester in April 2012 for a special occasion. I stayed at the sportcity travelodge and the room was really great value for money clean, comfortable and had a bath as well as shower. We didn't have breakfast but we did have some tea in the bar/restaurant. The food was really good and great value for money the drinks were also very reasonably priced. We also had tickets to the phantom of the opera at the palace theatre and this show was excellent! The theatre was very nice and the drinks were also not overly priced like I had been told. The seats weren't the greatest but i was made aware of this when i made the booking. Overall Superbreak provided a great package and the confirmation came through very quickly and the tickets to the musical came in the post weeks before the show! Overall an excellent trip and i would definately book with Superbreak again!! :-).

After reading some of the previous reviews about this hotel, we almost cancelled, however we thought it was not as bad as reported. Staff were friendly and breakfast was good, it could do with modernising and was a little scruffy, mattress needs replacing, very uncomfortable. However the hotel was clean and service was good. Ok for a cheap overnighter.
