Overall Rating (5 out of 5)

Toronto the largest city in Canada is located on the shore of Lake Ontario. It is the most multicultural city in the world with a relatively mild climate. Toronto has plenty of modern attractions including the landmark CN Tower and is an excellent base for visiting the natural wonders of Ontario province.

City Break in Toronto

A customer from MANCHESTER who stayed at 3* Days Hotel Toronto in Toronto wrote this review.

7 hours flight away - is that too far for a city break? Not for Toronto - it offers all the things any sensible person could want great food, excellent shopping, bars and pubs and even a couple of tourist attractions thrown in for good measure. You can't go to Toronto and not visit Niagara or the CN Tower, both are a must even if it's just to tick them off the list. But the views from the top of the tower are amazing - truly breat-taking and give you a great idea of the layout of the city. It's quite expensive to get up there 55$ for two - but one tip from a Toronto taxi driver - it's free if you eat in the restaurant up there - so go up for a light lunch and save the fare. Food across the city is excelleny - one truly amazing find is the the Town Grill, in the Cabbagetown area - really good quality food and wine, well presented with great hosts. Shopping is fabulous - The Bay, The Eaton Centre, Kensington Market and the brilliant and quirky St. Lawrence Market mean you can shop to your hearts content - everything from real homebaked ghingerbread through to the latest designer fashions all of it available in a compact downtown area. And the exchange rate just makes it better and better!
