Any big Harry Potter fan has to visit this in ones lifetime. The price is absolutely absurd, but we managed to find a tour that included transport from the city to thankfully we didn't have to worry about getting there. Everything is organized very well so you can walk yourself through and take as much time as you need. It was also very touching to have been introduced to the tour by the three main leads in the series, and hearing personal stories from the cast. Very big fans could stay all day if they read every bit of information and participated in everything they had to offer. I really enjoyed seeing all the original sets and getting to know more about the animal actors from the film. All though the gift shop is very tempting it is sadly overpriced like everything else here. Still thinking about that Slytherin sweater. Collapse

We took the train on our own from central London to Watford Station and from there we waited in line for the HP WB official tour bus which you pay 2.50 in cash per person for roundtrip bus back to train station. Our tour was scheduled for 5:30 and we got to ticket office and lined up for about 10 mins. After you get tickets you go through security and theres a free locker for bags that you dont need during the walking tour. We picked up our audio guide paid in advance. Then the tour started and we were just overwhelmed by the many items we got to see and do. Dtarting from the great hall it was just rooms after rooms of things to see and read. We also did the picture and video option activity that you preview after and purchase if you wanted to. We ended up buying just the picture as the video wasnt very great and for 3 people it cost a fortune. We came to the part where you get to but butterbeer and butterbeer ice cream and other snacks. We rested there for a bit and thought tour was done. It turned out theres more to see so we had to rush to see the rest since the last bus back to train station was at 9:45pm, we wished we had more time to browse through the second half. But overall, it was a great experience and maybe wouldve preferred an earlier tour time so we couldve taken our time without having to worry about closing hours and last bus trip, the bus was late by the way and didnt arrive until 10pm. For all you Harry Potter fans out there, this is an ultimate day out. It takes on average 3 hours to do the whole tour. Well worth a visit. Oh and try the ButterBeer!

I grew up reading the books and loving the movies, my son is a huge fan too so as a family we visited the studio tour for his birthday it was absolutely amazing - we booked months in advance as we read that tickets sell out very quickly. We weren't due to start our tour until 2.30 but we chanced our luck and they let us in an hour early - all tickets were sold out so we expected the place to be packed but it really wasn't overcrowded which allowed everyone to enjoy the tour. As it was our sons birthday he was invited to open the doors to the great hall which was a real treat. It really is an interactive museum of the making of the HP movies we couldn't recommend it highly enough and we will definitely visit again. Collapse

My first visit was in 2012, but now there is even more stuff. We were here for over three hours, although we were told the record was 13 hours. And that's the beauty of this tour, you can take as long as you want. Diagon Alley, the mammoth Hogwarts model and the nasty surprise inside the Forbidden Forest were among my favourite parts. The shop is a complete rip-off and can't be avoided as they built the tour exit into the back of it. If you bring the kids expect to be stung for even the smallest item. However, all in all a fantastic place for HP fans of all ages Collapse
