Huge Broadway success, Once the Musical is heading to The Phoenix Theatre in London after winning an impressive eight Tony Awards. From March 16th 2013 until November 30th 2013, guests on Once theatre breaks can enjoy an evening of blossoming romance through the power of music.
Based on the Oscar-winning film of the same name, Once the Musical tells the touching tale of an Irish busker and young Czech mother who meet through a shared love of music. A celebration of love, friendship and music, the musical charts their story as their song writing sparks a deep connection and a tender, longing romance that neither of them could have expected.
Set in Dublin, the musical features music and lyrics by Glen Hansard and Marketa Irglova, the stars of the original Irish film. Actor singer songwriter Declan Bennett and Croatian born Zrinka Cviteši will play the leading roles of Guy and Girl. Guests lucky enough to experience Once theatre breaks are in for a musical treat with a heart-felt story to match.
Performance times for Once the Musical are as follows:
Evening: Monday to Saturday at 7.30pm
Matinee: Thursday and Saturday at 3.00pm
