Guests on Lion King Manchester theatre breaks follow the story of Prince Simba and his epic journey to become King of the Pride Lands. After his birth to King Mufasa and his Queen Sarabi his evil uncle Scar hatches a plan to kill Simba and Mufasa and proclaim himself as King. Scar tricks Mufasa into thinking that Simba is in grave danger and leads him directly into the path of a stampede of wildebeests. Believing he is to blame Simba flees the kingdom leaving Scar to reign over the Pride Land. As Simba grows up he must decide if he will return to the kingdom which has almost been destroyed.
