Joseph at the Adelphi

We had very good seats and Joseph proved to be good show full of fun and with some outstanding costumes. Lee Mead as Joseph was a bit of a disappointment to us - he just did not come over as a strong character. The stars of the show were the narrator who had a wonderful voice and a great presence, the Pharaoh as an Elvis lookalike and the chorus of children. The show was very short with the first half being only 45 mins and the final curtain coming down well before 10 pm.The theatre itself was a bit tired looking - in need of some renovation.

Joseph and Jersey boys

Both shows were excellent and enjoyed them both, although you had to be broad minded for Jersey Boys as there was bad language.

Joseph & His Technicolour Dreamcoat

Excellent performance by all the cast, beautiful, stunning costumes, powerful voice by the leading man and lady. Generally, entertaining as musical should.
