Following on from its record breaking run in the West End Dirty Dancing embarks on a UK tour taking in some of the country’s best theatre venues. The hugely popular stage adaptation of Dirty Dancing will play at Cardiff’s award winning Millennium Centre from the 6th November to the 1st December 2012.
Experience the jubilation, anguish and heartache of first love in this fantastic coming of age story. Featuring the hit songs Hungry Eyes, Hey Baby, Do You Love Me? and the tremendous I’ve Had The Time Of My Life Dirty Dancing Cardiff captures the essence of the 1987 film and brings its magic to the Millennium Centre. Relive your favourite moments from the hit film as they are performed live on stage. With excellent choreography, scintillating dances and an electric atmosphere the forbidden love between Baby and Johnny Castle unfolds before your eyes.
Opened in 2004 by Queen Elizabeth II the Millennium Centre is Wales’ number one visitor attraction. Dirty Dancing Cardiff will show in the Donald Gordon theatre which is the buildings main auditorium and has a capacity to seat 1,896 people.
