A customer who stayed at 3* Burlington Court Apartments in St Julians - Malta wrote this review.
The islands buses are very good value, and most run centrally from Valletta. The longest trips cost 50cents, (under a £1 GB) each way, so it's not really worth hiring a car unless you want to go right off of the beaten track. Valletta and Sliema both offer a good selection of shops and attractions. If your trip is short, head for Valletta, for a flavour of the islands. If you have longer, go to Gozo, and also try and see some of the prehistoric sites such as Tarxien or Hagar Qim. The people are friendly, and most speak English. Malta is part of the EU and are shortly changing to Euros so check before you travel.
