A Friend's Wedding

I went to Harrogate principally to see my 2 good friends get married at Allerton Castle. It was a lovely venue and service was brilliant. I had my hair 'put up' locally at Peter Gotthard, Parliament Street by an enthusiastic trainee. Everybody complimented me on it.

Harrogate is an excellent venue for the above with lots of good restaurants and bars locally situated in the town centre.

Weekend in Harrogate

Never been before. Shopping ok they had a Fatface so my fiance was pleased. The Swallow St George hotel was lovely, a bit like going back to the 70's but very peaceful we felt like we were with just a handful of residents but the hotel was full. It has retained its Victorian feel and decor. The gym and pool were great. Room was right at the top in the eaves and very cozy if not a bit in need of re-decorating. All in all a lovely weekend.
