We went to Jersey because we had been on honeymoon there 38 years ago and had not been back. The hotel, flight and weather were great and would recommend it to anybody.

The Portelet Hotel is a quaint old fashioned, very clean, hotel, the staff and service were excellent. The facilities were good, even if the decor is dated Travel by bus it was great fun you can get anywhere on the island. By car everything is so close you're there before you can find it on the map. We'll go again very soon, we loved it

A customer from Hatfield who stayed at 4* Hotel La Place in St Brelade - Jersey wrote this review.
Bus routes are plentiful all over Jersey, starting and finishing at the St Helier bus depot. Bus fares are very reasonable and as long as your journey is not time conscious you will get to where you need to be eventually. Of course if car hire is within your budget, then a car will open up Jersey to you completely. Parking is paid for by obtaining hourly vouchers from many outlets, shops hotels etc and costs 0.52pence per hour. Most tourist attractions are free parking.
