Getting Around In Jersey

Bus routes are plentiful all over Jersey, starting and finishing at the St Helier bus depot. Bus fares are very reasonable and as long as your journey is not time conscious you will get to where you need to be eventually. Of course if car hire is within your budget, then a car will open up Jersey to you completely. Parking is paid for by obtaining hourly vouchers from many outlets, shops hotels etc and costs 0.52pence per hour. Most tourist attractions are free parking.

A Beach Treat in Jersey

Stayed in St Brelade's Bay with a balcony literally hanging over the wide sandy beach. stunning views and coastline. amazing cliff walks linking numerous bays. You can walk or cycle from St Aubins a harbour full of restaurants and bars to Corbieres Lighthouse on the West coast with spectacular scenery. A mix of jagged coastline scattered with ex-German bunkers and gun turrets. The walk along the causeway to the lighthouse is incredible as is the pub on the cliff tops. For a real treat eat at La Bohemia in St Helier a Mitchelin star restaurant for £49 with six individual courses a' la master chef. The carpaccio is unbelievable
