Short Break in Edinburgh

Stay Date: 26/05/06, a customer from Isle Of Arran who stayed at 4* Novotel Edinburgh Centre in Edinburgh wrote this review.

We booked into the hotel, the only disappointment was the distance from the car park to the hotel. We then went to the local bars at Grassmarket which were fun, lively and inviting. We headed back See More  Read more information to the hotel and had room service snack which was excellent. On Saturday we headed off to the castle which was busy but very interesting. Following that we went to the Dungeons which was done for abit of fun. It certainly was great fun and enjoyed by both of us. We had lunch at a cafe then wandered around the shops, heading back to the hotel for a rest. We then headed off to the bars again anddecided to order room service for supper. On Sunday we visited the Scottish Art Gallery briefly before having a light lunch and heading off home.   Collapse  Hide

Edinburgh in December

Stay Date: 03/12/17, a customer aged 45-64 from Gb who stayed at 4* Crowne Plaza Edinburgh - Royal Terrace (2 Nt Offer & 1st Nt Dinner) in Edinburgh wrote this review.

The Crowne Plaza hotel was a lovely hotel with the friendliest staff I've ever met. Edinburgh really dresses itself for the Christmas period especially The Dome which was breathtakingly beautiful. See More  Read more information We visited the 'Scotland through the Ages' ice sculptures which were amazing and well worth the entry fee and the -10 temperature! When darkness fell the Christmas market and fairground sparkledmagically! A wonderful experience especially with a cup of mulled wine to keep you warm as you are tempted by the beautiful stalls. A memorable break.   Collapse  Hide
