Santa Cruz Landscape
Santa Cruz on the north-east coast is the capital of Tenerife. A bustling city situated in a large natural bay with a stunning backdrop of the Anaga mountains. It is an excellent base for shopping, eating out and exploring the north-east of the island. Las Caletillas is a quiet holiday resort only nine miles from Santa Cruz, and is a stone's throw away from the charming village of Candelaria with its black sand volcanic beach. The resort itself has a black pebble beach stretching around three coves, and offers several bars, restaurants and souvenir shops.
