My partner and I spent a long weekend in Salzburg. Our hotel was about five minutes walk from the city centre which was perfect. We found Salzburg to be a beautiful city with so much to see and do. A visit to the fort is worth a visit just for views alone.The people of Salburg were very friendly and have a real pride in their city.There are many resturants and bars to choose from all serving excellent food at reasonable prices.We loved Salzburg and can't wait to go back.

Quite time of year in this very welcoming place with friendly locals, a lovely city with much to see and do. Excellent tram service to get about. Many places of historic, heard of Mozart? good shopping venue. The scenery outside Salzburg is wonderful you must get out and about. A place that you will want to come back again.

Salzburg short Break

Great City for sightseeing and for simply wandering around and taking in the feel of the place. Plenty to see and most within walking distance. We did not do the Sound of music tour but saw various locations. All in all an excellent break in a beautiful and friendly city.
