From ancient Rome to the thoroughly modern-day fashion stores, this is the Eternal City. Home to the Vatican with Saint Peter’s Basilica and the Sistine Chapel. Rome’s cultural riches include the Colosseum, the Pantheon, the Spanish Steps and the romantic Trevi Fountain.

Quirinale Roma

A customer from Superbreak who stayed at 4* Quirinale Roma Hotel in Rome wrote this review.

The Quirinale Roma offers traditional grandeur in an excellent location right on Via Nazionale. The rooms are spacious and offer a good standard of accommodation within walking distance of the most important historical sites. Placed excellently on one of Rome's main shopping streets the Quirinale is extremely popular hotel with guests from the UK. Service levels were kept to a high level with luggage carried up to the room by the porter. All staff spoke English and were available 24 hours of the day. The breakfast was also rich in variety offering something for all tastes.

The Rome Marathon

A customer from Buckinghamshire who stayed at 5* Radisson SAS Es Hotel Rome in Rome wrote this review.

We went to support a family member entered in the marathon - despite the extra crowds, this event made sightseeing a little restricted owing to closed roads - Rome is definatly worth a visit - we will return! Strange that you cant buy a rail ticket at teh train station??? and that the signs around Rome are generally, well, wrong!

Four Days in Rome

A customer who stayed at 3* Torre Rossa Park Hotel in Rome wrote this review.

Wonderful break overall. The only drawback is that there were lots of students on excursions staying in the hotel. They don't seem to separate the students rooms from the other guests so you have to be prepared for the noise. Our hotel room was very small, no room to put our suitcases. We asked to be moved to a different room and we were moved without question. Overall accommodation good.
