Reykjavik is the world’s most northerly capital. Take in suburban streets and cafes set against a mountain and ocean scenery. Travel further afield to whale watch, see waterfalls, geysers and glaciers. Don’t forget to take a dip in one of the thermal pools!

A customer from WIRRAL who stayed at 4* Radisson SAS Saga Hotel in Reykjavik wrote this review.
Greeted by Aurora Borealis as we landed in Keflavik, what a welcome. Great bus service to hotel door by Rekyjavik excursions. Be prepared it is a very expensive destination, wine ?7 a glass, trips out ?30 minimum. What a geological wonder: lava fields, geysirs, rift valleys, thermal spas. If you're lucky and it's a clear night get out of town to see Northern Lights

A customer who stayed at 3* Park Inn Island, Reykjavik in Reykjavik wrote this review.
Stay just outside of the main city area in Reykjavik, it's cheaper. You'll be hard pushed to get better value for money staying at the Park Inn Island hotel. Although 10hrs round trip do the express tour for Blue Lagoon, Geyser & Gullfoss. It's the only way to see wonderful sites in a short stay. Drink Eglis Gull beer it is the best. Coffee in most places is superb. Food portions are large everywhere, which helps compensate for the high prices.

A customer from Nottingham who stayed at 3* Park Inn Island, Reykjavik in Reykjavik wrote this review.
Car hire saved money against excursions which seemed expensive for family of four. The hotel was very good but marred by one late night disco (ended 5am)- don't know if regular occurence. Food and drink very expensive generally (£6 beer, £3 soft drinks, £30 large pizza Pizza Hut)- take away pizza reasonable. Balanced by no parking costs and very few attraction costs i.e. no cost to visit waterfall or park car.
