out of 5Great time to visit. The Hotel Le Dokham's is a good choice. Easy walking to many of the sites and attractions. The decor is a ittle tired, especially in the bathrooms but the superb staff more than make up for this, The Porter Franco is a gem and clearly enjoys giving advice on places to visit and little tips on how to avoid queues and booked some places on line for us. All staff helped to make the break special, and the Champagne Bar Tasting was worthwhile. Breakfast Breads were fantastic and the very fresh orange juice a coffee. Try to get rooms on the higher floors and pay the extra for De luxe

out of 5Great hotel with friendly and helpful staff. Fantastic room - crisp bedding, soft towels, bathroom accessories. Easy access by metro or walking to anywhere in Paris. Close to Eiffel Tower. Shops / boutiques off the beaten track are the best.

out of 5Hotel location was excellant. Walking distance to Eiffel Tower. Best travel tip, use the batobus. Excellant views along the river and stops off at all major tourist attractions. If you are there more than one day then buy a ticket for 2 days - saves money. Dinner at two excellant restaurants, Butte Chaillot's contemporary food by Guy Savoy. Cafe De L'homme excellant views of the Eiffel Tower at night. Both restaurants were quite expensive but well worth it. Final tip, buy a bottel of wine instead of beer.

out of 5Walking along the Champs Elysee towards the Arc de Triomphe was an easy way to see the busier areas. Even in July, the city was not as busy as I expected. If you are prepared to walk, there is much to be seen!

out of 5A friendly hotel offering coffee whilst we waited for our room (having arrived early).Walking along the banks of the Seine allowed us to drink in the atmosphere of Paris. Pavement cafes were everywhere and it was easy to find a place to sit and drink coffee whilst watching Paris go by. Very relaxing.Walking along the Champs Elysee towards the Arc de Triomphe was an easy way to see the busier areas. Even in July, the city was not as busy as I expected.
