There's A Hot New Double Act In Town!02 October 2007
There’s a hot new double act in London and this time it’s not on the West End stage – it’s at The British Museum and the O2! Superbreak reports that there are two new boys stealing the show at the moment and one of them hasn’t even had their opening night yet. Currently The First Emperor – China’s Terracotta Army Exhibition is out selling even the biggest musicals and Superbreak expects the Tutankhamum and the Golden Age of the Pharaohs exhibition to take the top spot when it opens on 22 November.
Graham Balmforth, national sales manager at Superbreak comments “Agents have already booked over 6000 customers onto Tutankhamum packages and we expect to see demand increase even further in the weeks leading up to its opening. When The First Emperor exhibition opened there was an incredible amount of media attention surrounding it and that week it became our top selling event – overtaking musicals such as Joseph and the Sound of Music. We expect even more media coverage for the Tutankhamun exhibition and I would urge agents to ensure they are promoting packages at every given opportunity in the run up to its opening on 22 November.”
Superbreak offer packages that combine overnight accommodation with tickets to the exhibitions.
