Superbreak Launch 2nd Edition Theme Parks & Attraction Breaks Brochure...05 June 2007
... in Time for Key Booking Period.
Superbreak had added two new attractions to its second edition ‘Theme Parks & Attractions’ brochure which launches on 7 June 07. The brochure launches in time for the peak summer period at most parks and attractions and the operator reports that 40% of all sales through agents of product featured within this brochure are made in the three months June to August. During these three months, Superbreak expects agents to book in excess of 50,000 customers providing excellent earning opportunities.
Boosting the operator’s attraction offering in Scotland, Edinburgh Dungeon packages have been added, ideal for customers taking the family to the city. Featuring live actors, shows, a ride and interactive special effects prices are from just £99 per family of four based on two adults and two children sharing a family room at the two star Travelodge Edinburgh Dreghorn on a room basis and including a family day ticket to the Dungeons.
Also featured in this brochure for the first time is ‘The First Emperor: China’s Terracotta Army’ which arrives at London’s British Museum on 13 September and runs until 6 April 08. This once-in-a-lifetime exhibition will explore one of the greatest archaeological discoveries of the 20th century and provide an insight into China’s First Emperor, Qin Shihuangdi, and his legacy. Prices are from £56.50pp staying at three star Royal National Hotel located close the British Musuem and includes one night’s b/b accommodation and a ticket to the exhibition on the following day. Two share and valid from September to December.
The A5 brochure also contains 12 different London attractions, over 20 event and entertainment breaks, the full range of London and Stratford-Upon-Avon theatre breaks plus golf, spa and Orient Express packages. Ideal for agents to push to families during the summer holidays, children’s deals are available at most hotels which allow them to stay for free. All breaks are pre-bookable both via the call centre or on the web (www.superbreak.com/agents) and are fully commissionable so agents can maximise earnings.
Ian Mounser, sales director at Superbreak comments: “As the key summer booking months approach this is really a good time for agents to be pushing this type of product as families are looking for activities to do with the kids. It’s important to remember that up to two kids stay free when sharing a family room with two adults so in many cases they simply pay for their ticket which is a great deal. Independent agents are currently missing out in this area as multiples do seem to promote these type of breaks better, so there are real opportunities for independents to capitalise.”
