This year marks the Diamond wedding anniversary of Her Majesty The Queen and His Royal Highness The Duke of Edinburgh. To mark the Diamond wedding anniversary, a special exhibition will take place in the State Rooms of Buckingham Palace which will include Princess Elizabeth’s magnificent wedding dress and 15-foot tulle veil. All the jewellery worn by the Princess on the day or presented to her on her marriage will also be on display.
A ROYAL DAY - £79pp – take in three major attractions in one day then relax afterwards with a night’s accommodation at the four-star Jolly Hotel St Ermin’s. The tour starts at 1pm on your day of arrival with a tour to The Royal Mews at Buckingham Palace which provide a unique opportunity for guests to see the work of the Royal Household department that provides road transport for The Queen and the chance to see the State vehicles including the magnificent Gold State Coach. At 3pm enjoy an audio tour of The State Rooms lavishly furnished with some of the greatest treasures from the Royal collection and spend time in the exhibition. The visit ends with a walk along the south side of the 39 acre garden with views of the west front of the Palace and famous lake.
