Superbreak Prepares for Launch of Tutankhamun Exhibition in London19 January 2007
For the first time in 30 years, the Tutankhamun Exhibition is returning to London and will be the biggest exhibition the city has ever hosted. Superbreak has been appointed as a key distribution partner to the exhibition and will be taking initial booking registrations from Monday 29th January, with confirmed booking capability being available shortly there after.
Due to open in November 2007 and run until June 2008, the operator will be selling packages that include a hotel and timed entry ticket. Other elements such as rail, London attractions etc can also be added.
Ian Mounser, sales director at Superbreak comments “This is the biggest visitor event to hit London in ages and demand is expected to be huge. It provides a massive opportunity for agent, which is why we want to make them fully aware of it. There will be much publicity around this going forward and I am sure many customers will request it, and if not, they should certainly be offered the chance to go to it. I expect that the travel trade could sell somewhere approaching 100,000 customers on packages to the exhibition during its time in London which provides great earning opportunities.”
All packages will be fully commissionable and the operator believes that this much anticipated cultural exhibition provides a great opportunity for agents to mail their customers – especially those who have travelled to Egypt with them.
