Superbreak Mini-Holidays has launched its first edition Luxury Hotel Collection brochure covering stays up to 30 April 2008 with 12 new hotels, a new first class rail offer and a wide range of upgrade options for agents. Offering agents the only rackable brochure dedicated specifically to luxury UK hotel breaks, this top end programme of 258 hotels is ideal for special occasion customers and the operator wants agents to take advantage of the countless trade up opportunities that the brochure offers. Over 80% of the hotels featured offer commissionable and pre-bookable room upgrades.
12 new hotels have been added to the programme, including some high profile properties such as:
- Four star Craigellachie Hotel, Scotland. This country house hotel is located in Speyside in the heart of the malt whiskey area. Its Quaich Bar offers 700 different single malt whiskies to try! Priced from £45pppn on a b/b basis.
- Four star Malmaison Liverpool. This is brand new hotel situated on Princess Dock features a state of the art gym and Verve Clicquot champagne bar! Prices from £57.50pppn on a b/b basis.
- Five star Browns Hotel in London. This is one of London’s most historic hotels in the heart of Mayfair that has just undergone a multi-million pound refurbishment. Prices from £195pppn on a b/b basis.
Other luxurious treats on offer for agents to increase revenue include things such as first class rail travel. A new rail deal has been added through Midland Mainline who cover Yorkshire and the East Midlands. For example – first class return rail to London from Sheffield costs from just £50 per person when added to a hotel booking. Other first class deals featured include £89 from Glasgow or Edinburgh to London with GNER and £75 from Manchester, Liverpool or Llandudno with Virgin Trains.
Ideal for the luxury market, the new brochure features private tours of Buckingham Palace on selected dates in August and September 2007. These are the only guided tours available of the official residence of the Queen, focusing on the history of the building and contents of the state rooms. Prices are from £159 per person including overnight at the four star Rubens at the Palace Hotel and the private tour.
Spa also features strongly with 13 hotels available that offer packages combining overnight accommodation and spa treatments. For example the Chester Grosvenor hotel costs from £185 per person including one night’s b/b accommodation and a range of treatments in the spa.
